  1. Do you think i'd be able to grow a mango tree in zone 9b if i use the frost blanket like you do with the avocado? Btw the pepino melon plant i talked to you about before is from the tomato/pepper family (Solanaceae family), the name melon is because it tastes between a honey dew and cantaloupe, so i do think you could grow it and bring it indoors for winter.

  2. I haven't pruned my little 1 y/o tree yet.. maybe next year… or maybe when it drops it's leaves and I see the growth pattern better. I've got it in one of those – one person can put it together – pop up green houses, but in a pot. the greenhouse 5' – 6' tall and the tree is just getting to 3'. It's probably going to come in the house when it gets colder.
I'm just a bit further south than you.. right on the A/B line of zone 8.

  3. This is exciting! I have avocado trees growing in probably four totes. I’m thinking to repot them, and bring them inside to grow till spring and plant them in ground at that time. (If I can keep from killing them.)

  4. Just the info my little sister needs. She just purchased an avocado tree. I going to tell her to check out your videos on avocado trees.👍
She enjoyed one of your videos on tomatoes I shared with her.🙂

  5. I heard that if you graft a dwarf avocado with a regular size tree that is a good way to get a smaller tree that can also produce fruit sooner but it needs to be done when its a small seedling like size.
