Usually after a game like this, I can spin it positively like "that was a tough, hard fought team victory, where we came together and found a way to win." But honestly I dont feel that about this game. This was because the titans don't have the pieces to close out a game that they probably should have won. "Andy reid off a bye!!"….?? What?? What the hell offense did we just trot out there? After 2 weeks of cooking in the lab– THIS was the product we put out on the field??? Yikes.
This is the definition of an over my dead body game
Can’t really brag on the DBs going against zero decent WRs and a rookie QB who can’t make many throws. Not sure why we didn’t make any adjustments first half to shut down the run, it was clear they weren’t going to throw much.
Orlando Brown does not deserve to be paid as a top LT. Change my mind…
So many deep routes when it obviously wasn't working. The defense adjusted beautifully but it felt like last year with all the deep route futility.

15 and the defense are the two reasons why KC won 🏆 this game against the Titans. Patrick knew that his offense wasn’t producing so on a 3rd and 20 he scrambled for 20 yards to get the first down. After scrambling for 20 yards he runs for a TD that ties the game at 17, then the two point conversion. The defense completely stopped Derrick Henry in the second half, made some key stops. It surprised me that with 2 weeks of preparation for Big Red that the offense came out as flat as it did in the first half. I think 15 should run more to kick start the offense but I understand why he’s so selective about when he uses his legs 🦵 to make things happen. They were put into a lot of 3rd and long situations. My biggest concern is the O line, protecting 15 I’m afraid he’ll get injured if they can’t protect him better than they have been doing so far. I’m wondering if it’s the interior of the O line or if it’s the OTs.
🙅 Skyy Moore cannot be compared to Justin Watson
Skyy is a rookie and needs a little time to develop. Justin Watson played with Tom Brady in Tampa for 3 years and had unimpressive stats with the Bucs. He has had more time to learn how to play in the NFL.
It seemed to me Andy took over the play calling at the end. Not sure, but teams will have rough games like this. It’s all good in the neighborhood. Offense is continuing to build their chemistry, especially with Toney.
One game of bad run game isn’t a concern. If this becomes a pattern then ok.
And this why they should have traded for Kareem Hunt. Ried or Mahomes dont have any trust in running games
Chiefs need to suit up Rojo and sit CEH for one game. He can't be any worse than what they're getting right now. They need to find an answer at running back.
Rojo is a bigger RB and has some pass catching. I just don't think Chiefs like him. The fact Chiefs have zero running game and he won't even suit up to be giving a chance is ridiculous.
The first half was a real problem. The Chiefs weren't prepared for Willis. He got them early. That was the difference in this game. My guess is they planned for Tannehil. Don't burn this film it is a blue print for other teams defencing Mahomes. The Chiefs have to learn from it.
Titans have been a thorn in KC’s side for a while. The rest of the AFC should have been building like TN.

Refs bailed the chiefs out in 2nd half
Buffalo Bill had the same type game against the Jets that the Chiefs did, and they lost their game. We won because we have the best Quarterback on the planet.
I tip my glass to Snead, Bolton, and Gay. The were a big part of the containment in the 2nd half especially on the edges.
Also, for Hardman stepping up in the return game. He looked good in that phase.
