Burpless “Bush” Cucumber Update – Self Watering Container Garden

Here I show the progress of my Burpless “Bush” hybrid Cucumber. “Bush” is in quotes because it’s not a bush at all. But it is a great variety I’d recommend to anyone with the space for it.

  1. Looks great!! The amount of flowers on the bush is amazing. I'm sure y'all had a lot of fruit that year. I think I'm going to have to hand pollinate my plants once they flower. I haven't seen many bees. 🐝 😢 Cheers!🌱🌞

  2. Thank you. I got some without looking. After looking at the label, i wondered how i needed to prepare for a cucumber bush. I guess these are really vines.

  3. I have a question, should that type of cucumber plant be pruned or do I just let it all grow? Sorry Im new to this, any edvice is appriacated! Thanks

  4. I wonder why no 🐝 bees? My cucumber plants attract the bumblebees mostly, which I love. They’re so docile. If there’s a honey bee pollinating, he’ll chase me away and I can’t water.
