Even though I live in a different gardening zone this was really helpful. I think my peppers this year were too shaded. I did kinda stake them to my okra this year. Won't be doing that next year because I really don't like okra. More peppers though.

Backing off on nitrogen after the plant is established will cause it to cut back on leaf production and concentrate more on fruit production.
