Epipremnum rare plant index please!
I want a blue oil fern but also I do not have the right place for one and would be disappointed if I couldn't get it the shiniest, bluest ever. Ah well, nice to dream.
I have a Blue Star Fern and I just love it! I'm a sucker for ferns but kill almost every one of them. The Blue Star is so easygoing, grows really quickly, and is so forgiving if you're not perfect with your watering. It also isn't picky with humidity- my house is usually 30-40% humidity and it has no issues. The blue on the leaves is gorgeous irl and gets better as you give it more light. One of my favorites!
In Canada I payed around 120$ for my blue oil fern. I love mine ♥️
I just have a question Kaylee : ls alocasia silver dragon more forgiving and tolerant than let's say Alocasia Amazonica? I find that Alocasia Amazonica deteriorates very quickly if not given ideal conditions . Thanks
I looked into the Spathiphyllum ghost when it was first mentioned as I absolutely love peace lily and wanted it the moment I saw it. From what I found the most common name it is sold under is Spathiphyllum "Platinum Mist" and is usually a bit darker that the ones Kaylee is posting. I see lots of pictures of the very pale ones in image search and on import sites, but many of the non imported ones for sale here in the US are a darker. As of Nov. 2022 they are usually running for under 40 dollars US, but the white ones like she has can go for a bit higher at around 50-70$.

PS, Bonus, if you know?: WHAT is the difference between "aura" and "yellow flame"?? None of the specialty shops in Seattle that I have asked at have been able to tell me! A little strange considering they're also not priced the same… 🤔 Of course I still bought one of each 😂
ALSO A SCINDAPSUS RARE PLANT INDEX! I know they're a lot of work so chuck it in the ideas bin, but I am also collecting those! A tiny rescue of a boring ol' pictus argyraeus in 2016 was one of my first plants, that has currently shingled up and down my bathroom wall in this rental five or six times, and I have had such a love for them for a long time. Just picked up a variegated exotica, though I can't find much info or even a usual price for them online. I am sure you will fall in love with scindapsus after all the research I know you do for those indexes!

Also in Europe. I was looking for a Cebu Blue for years. I wanted one ever since I found out it exists.
And then I found one! I found a small but bushy plant for sale, for an insane price (about 3-4 times more expensive than any other pothos). Regardless, picked it up.
Spider mites. Thrips. Mealy bugs. Fungus gnats. Mushrooms growing 2cm tall. Another type of insect I haven't even seen before. And it was all over. I wanted to cry. No way I'm introducing all of that into my home.
But I still wanted a cebu blue… Like, bad.
So I did the unthinkable. I found a little pup on a vine that looked relatively clean. Snapped it. Put it in a zipped pocket. Paid for everything else I bought and rushed home to put it in water. I also gave it a good wash with 1/3 alcohol 2/3 water and quarantined.
I now have a 4-leaf little cebu blue in a teeny tiny pot. It's growing a new leaf. Propagation is gonna be the name of the game this spring.
Really love seeing one of my plants on one of those lists.

I love Amydrium medium but it is the slowest growing plant I own (I have green form). I bought a node ages ago and it took exactly 2 years to sprout a leaf in my prop container. It’s been chilling with one leaf now since July.
