  1. I just added my new plants into my raised bed. So late due to quarantine and broke down and went as they sold outside. My thyme, chives and rosemary returned. I added parsley, and 3 tiny basil plants!! I recalled your peppers last yr so I planted a Bertha and one Red bell. Hope I have luck with them. Thanks for sharing!

  2. Just a hint, Eric. When you get the plant from the pot, run a box cutter blade down the side to loosen the roots that are tangles or just rub around the sides with your hand, The plant will take up water and nutrients very quickly and the roots will spread easily.

  3. I thought you were supposed to break up the root ball so it would spread out easier to take root. I'm not sure I would put the lime and fertilizer right on the plant, either, because it might burn it. I'm not a gardener, but we had to help in the garden growing up. My dad always told us exactly what he wanted us to do, but I remember we always put lime next to the tomatoes and corn so that they'd be sweeter. Good luck with your container gardening this year!
