  1. I did start stuff indoors, put them outside a little bit each day for about a week. Then planted them in the grown, then we got a heavy monsoon that night. Not sure if they will come back or not. This was over 2 weeks ago. I am figuring they will not come back out. I am bummed. It was 25 bell pepper plants. 😔. I am down in the Tucson area. A lot like your area. We also bought some berry bushes from Mesquite Valley Growers and they totally went into shock and have not come out of it. Money waisted.

  2. This is a process I only recently heard of. I've been starting stuff on a heat mat and under grow lights, then sticking them into my greenhouse until they were ready to plant into the ground. Some stuff (tomatoes, thanks to Blight history) stays in pots in the greenhouse.

  3. So glad you posted this information, I picked up a Rosemary plant from Sprouts and planted it outside, it's not doing well, now I know why. I've learned so much from you and will be picking up your soil at the Az Worm Farm for my new raised beds.
Moved to Buckeye with over an acre plenty of room to have a garden and homestead, chickens will be coming soon. Love your channel!

  4. Good information. I tried planting in the garden a couple things with sun protection. I think the peppers, tomatoes and cucumber are doing better. Just trying.

  5. Is there a weed barrier product you recommend for the desert areas? I just moved here from Washington and we are finally getting our yard set up. Thank you for your content, it's very helpful!

  6. Thanks for presenting this topic in your usual easy to understand way. You were my main reference channel when I first considered starting a channel focused on tropical gardening. It's been 15 months since I started calyxservices and I make sure to not to miss any of your videos. Thanks for the guidance and inspiration!❣️
