  1. Gasp!!! Gullah Geechee are the people that live off of Georgia/Caribbean.
Sunn m'Cheaux teaches the language at Harvard and has the most Glorious hair! I lobe his channel so much.

  2. I need to know how similar these taste to the cinnabon delights from Taco Bell cuz I’m about to make this all the time πŸ˜πŸ’œ

  3. These look so good and so easy to make! My gran used to make something similar, however, instead of the cream cheese, she filled them with a finger sized piece of ripe banana, they were absolutely delicious

  4. My oldest only ate the crust of the bread. I have made this before, it is really lovely. I check the recipe and it is called Poor mans twinkies.

  5. I think it can also be made with creamed cottage cheese, to make it slightly healthier- and I bet that you can't really taste the difference.

  6. Love everyone of your videos. I wish you would do a Brotchen video. I haven't had in 35 years. I've tried to make but unsuccessful. Thank you for all the hard work.

  7. I feel like this is something that can be turned into an any time treat or even a new holiday favorite. They can be decked out in almost any fashion. I wonder how some fresh fruit would be along with the cream cheese filling. Kind of like a toasted crepe

  8. I made these one night when I wanted something sweet like a donut, but I battered mine in pancake mix and deep-fried them. Neat to know you can do it in the oven to without it all coming out

  9. I am so making these tomorrow night for dessert. Mm-mm. Going to mix the cream cheese with vanilla and brown sugar (my grandma made it as an apple dip every holiday).

  10. I feel like you could use that flattened bread technique to make a kind of apple pie pocket – definitely giving that a try.

  11. I've made something similar using canned apple pie filling instead of the cream cheese. You just have to cut the apples into smaller pieces. Put some vanilla ice cream on them while they're still warm. I got the idea from a video posted by OnePotChefShow, if anyone here watches his videos.

  12. Yum!
Some possible variations for the sweetened cream cheese filling:
add cocoa powder + vanilla to it or rum extract.

  13. Used to do something similar when we were younger, but no creamcheese filling, just more cinnamon sugar and butter.
Theres also a savoury version we do with kiwi onion dip and cheese filling (sometimes some grated zucchini and carrot in there too) then just baked

  14. Thank you so much for these videos, Emmy! I have anxiety and sometimes it spikes, but your videos never fail to calm me down and ground me. Also, this looks absolutely delicious! Sending you lots of love ❀
