I finally took the plunge and asked to get a local Council allotment to grow my own food. This first episode explains a little about the plot, it’s size and layout and I chat about possible plans and how I want to tackle the next few months. I was granted the plot tenancy at the end of a blistering heatwave which dried and tortured most peoples allotments to crispiness. So far I have recorded enough of a diary to make several episodes which I will be adding to this playlist over the next week or so. After that this will be an ongoing diary of my allotment. I have very little money, am no expert, have health issues so no double digging. I am also vegan and am dedicated now to saving the planet in my own little way. So join me and help me in my journey.
