  1. Lee and his family were our neighbors on Randolph AFB back in the early 80s. His son, Lance, and I used to play with matches all the time. I can remember my Dad telling me he was a POW. As an adult now looking back, it’s amazing to think back on how he never seemed affected. Stud.

  2. We make a few things, custom leather belts. Still have alot to learn in leather tooling. Got my industrial stitching machine,I have no idea what I'll be good at. I wear many hats. My friend that taught me how to make belts was a cowboy biker Vietnam Veteran. I really enjoyed the stories & interview.

  3. Another amazing podcast. Is this man related to the same Lee Ellis that's a part of seek one?

  4. Awesome. Lee was my PAS at UGA. I owe my USAF career largely due to his guidance and leadership. One of my heros.

    GO DAWGS

  5. Maybe I'm wrong but did Jocko ever bring someone to talk about Mexico and cartel cuz they been massacring men, women and kids for decades and US doesn nothing.

But like Ed Calderon said in 2-4 years USA will invade Mexico cuz they will brand cartels like terrorist and obv cuz it suits USA to attack it for their own sinister purpose

  6. More pilots please these guys are my hero’s and this is the closest I can get to having a conversion with them myself

  7. Jocko, can I please have a 15 minute conversation with you? I thought the chances of you saying yes are better than me wasting my last few dollars on a megamillions ticket. Thanks!

  8. It is a shame and a crime when people die so "PROFIT" can be made from the military industrial complex and the questionable Intelligence Community…

  9. Great podcast.Such valor these men displayed under the most arduous of circumstances..God Bless you all!

  10. Thank you so much sir for your sacrifice and service! We cherish you guys for all that we are thankful you made it out with the life you are living!

  11. Vietnam guys make the best guests, or maybe it was just the constellation of guys that have been on were so awesome that it seems that way but man this one was great once again.

  12. Incredible interview.
Jocko, I wish so many such heroes were still around to sit down with you. Major General Robert Olds comes to mind.

  13. "Scaled victories." Love it.
So many valuable and powerful lessons to be drawn from this story.

  14. Thank you for your service Leon..you and your fellow service men and woman are heros!! God bless you and family… these men are the heros..

  15. My grandfather was robin olds, he died when i was a child and i never actually knew much about him just that he had been a pilot. Watching those dogfights shows though helped a bit and watching these pilots really gives me a great look at what being a pilot back then meant. I never would have been able to be one, I'm too big, bit it's still really cool.

  16. Did Good Deal Dave limit Jocko's listeners to just, "thousands, and thousands"? Surely, the numbers are more similar to the numbers in Jocko's bank account after Black Friday sales.
