Welcome! As I was lying in bed, worrying about hungry chickens eating up all my hard work at the flower field, I KNEW I had to get out here and put up a fence! Have I ever put up a fence before? No! Have I ever even drove in t-posts before? Nope! Did I have fun while doing it? NOT REALLY! π Oh well! Seedlings are safe and sound and that is what matters! π± Enjoy!

So glad that you decided to put in the fence!…..you should try and tighten the chicken wire! Great work. Looking forward to seeing all your flowers come spring.
Don't let that t-post pounder bash you in the head like Aaron from Garden Answer did! π
Birds/squirrels/wildlife will be interested in investigating any time the ground is disturbed. They're looking for bugs, seeds, etc.
Great job Janey π I cannot wait to see everything bloom π₯°
Good job Janey! You worked so hard! The fence will be fine when you get the other posts.
Thanks!
Well done Janey , that's hard work, your garden will look amazing, I just love your can do attitude,, xx
So excited for your garden space for you! Look forward to all your progress! Congratulations on your efforts!
Love your channel! thanks for sharing with us all your gardening adventures to include the challenges you face! I learn so much!
Can you plant on both sides of the tube with alternating placement (like zig zag)? I think thatβs what Garden Answer Laura does. Canβt wait to watch them grow in your warmer zone! Love your channel, Janey!
Please donβt take offense, but I just busted up when I saw you plant the Lisianthus. They were so ity-bitty but at least they grew for you and were planted! You should be proud of yourself! I will admit as an avid vegetable gardener here also in 9b, and new to flower and plant gardening, reminds me of my gardening experiences. You are so relatable and I love your videos!
You worked so hard! I know you will have beautiful results. Can't wait!!
Those chickens are looking good to eat LMAO
I can't believe she's doing all these for non-commercial use of the flowers (or is it and I missed that bit?).
I predict chickens are in your future!
Bet you never thought that gardening IS a good workout!
It is a post driver and my husband had 9 staples from one π
Good job Zip ties work good too attach the wire to the posts. You can get the connection tighter
You do us women proud. You are a strong minded women. Great job. Your seedlings look so cute. Inspiring me heaps.
Amazing job on the fence Janey. That was totally unexpected Iβm sure but you tackled it like a boss. Love this video. Your flowers will be spectacular
