The Golden Pavilion | A Beautiful World Heritage Site in Japan, the Kinkakuji | Kyoto

The Golden Pavilion (金閣寺 Kinkakuji) is one of the most visited temples in Kyoto and a Unesco World Heritage Site.
Initially built in 1397, it’s been rebuilt after being destroyed by the fire of 1950.
The top two stories are entirely covered with pure gold leaf.
