  2. Kaye, did you use a straw to suck the air out of the bag of quash? I’ve heard Kushaw squash makes wonderful pies and breads!♥️🙏🏼♥️

  3. What a beautiful video! 👋 We would sweeten with carrots or honey! Greetings from an Englishman 🇬🇧 in Arabia! ☺

  4. Good Morning – it's amazing how big those squash get. Love your method of getting them vacuum sealed without a vacuum sealer! Look forward to some recipes on how you prepare them. Take care..

  5. Thanks for showing how to process the cushaw. Makes me want to grow them next year.

  6. I just made a great gourd chili with white beans. It turned out to be so good there was NO leftover's 🥺. I sauteed the oven cooked 1" chunks in olive oil and added to my chili. Easy

  7. Hi Kaye. I think I told you about the community garden where I volunteer, Shiloh. It is the largest community garden in the United States. We grow Cushaw squash. I was surprised to learn that about 90% of the canned pumpkin is actually Cushaw squash, did you know that? The bulk of the meat is in the neck of the squash, so if you are buying, get the thickest neck you can find. I have a small one at home now and when I cook, will seed save. I've missed the last 2 Saturdays at the garden due to very cold rainy weather. I don't want to get sick, but I'm at the senior center on Monday to share from Shiloh. Don't know how much longer the garden will produce. We had much lettuce, peppers and greens last week. We'll see what tomorrow will offer. Oh, Diakon and Korean radishes also. I have gained so much knowledge volunteering at the garden. I really enjoy it. How is your mom? Please give her a warm hug from me when you see her. Stay safe and warm. I voted first day of early voting. God bless. Much love from Texas. We had hard rain and winds here in my part but no real damage, thank God!!! I hear the "T" word, and my heart skips!!

  8. I would like to purchase some of your seeds. I was at a farm yesterday and bought long island cheese pumpkin and forgot to pick up a few of this type of squash. Thanks for sharing your journey with us. I enjoy your channel.

  9. Kaye, does the squash have a huge Vine like a pumpkin and if you would send me some of that seed I'd be forever grateful
