In this episode of Garden Talk, I interview Wendy Kornberg of Sunnabis. She has been gardening all her life, and is a licensed cultivator in Humboldt county. She does low-till farming and also does a lot of natural farming techniques. She talks all about low-till farming and how it differs from no-till farming as well as other techniques that she does on her farm. What type of plants do you like to grow? Orchids, ferns, grapes, tomatoes, apples, potatoes, peaches, house plants, let us know in the comments section below. If you enjoyed this video please click that thumbs up button 🙂

  1. I value these types of videos so much. Growing indoor plants is fun, rewarding and provides medicine to those who need it, but this stuff teaches you to feed yourself. Living without medicine can be painful but living without nutrient dense food will literally kill you slowly. Great video!

  2. Top dress, worm casting, fpj, Mammoth p, mykrobs, fish sh!t, and cover crops orulch layers… all good stuff. Build a soil products always produce great mycelium and end results. Hell of a learning curve though.

  3. First Grow is going great. I attribute my success thus far to you and your guests. Thank you all 🙏

  4. Another great perspective on organic gardening. Everyone is different and their environment is different. People get success and failures where others do or don't so to get all these different perspectives helps. Thanks Wendy & Chris for sharing.

  5. Back in the days I got all my knowledge from Humboldt County it's funny now I know why I went through the same problems. It's like she's talking about my first years of gardening great video

  6. Great one chris. Wendy is a stright g to growing world..love this content ,been getting away from bottles and going stright low till no till orangic best as possible..so really appreciate this one..thanks mr.grow it

  7. Great hands-on knowledge!

The idea that all nutrients are available in the earth only applies IF the soil contains the full soil food web in large enough quantities to make it plant available.

  8. Another blinder Chris, where do you find these great people? Take a look at Garden Like a Viking channel on here, he's amazing.

  9. Great information Wendy, and Chris..both channels have improved my growing skills, I would love doing a grow talk with you Chris, I have over 40 years experience growing cannabis…✌️

  10. Basil ward's off thrips Dill peppermint garlic onion as well also pump sprayer with regular water helps for a lot of unwanted bug's 👍

  11. I watched a water shortage documentary that might give more insight into the lack of organic alfalfa mulch available..
Alfalfa is a very water hungry crop, with the water shortages in some areas alfalfa farmers have had to only plant 50% of their normal crops this year. So organic alfalfa may not be a viable mulch option going into the future until they are able to produce more.

  12. Utube didn't let me know u even uploaded and I've already hit the bell for all your videos I dnt understand why it stopped telling me I had to come looking for your sat video fn utube

  13. I am organic and have been for 2 years. I have some amazing runs. I use BAS 3.0 and some of their other products. Along with gaia green, and some terp teas from roots organic. Lots of microbs for inoculation. Next step for me is to have some custom size grass roots beds made. Already had them quoted, just have to pull the trigger.
