  1. He thinks that it will become an island in 100 years…

The media thinks it will be under in 100 years because of 'rising sea levels' ๐Ÿ˜‚

The government, who have spent decades studying the area. Don't seem to believe it's an unsafe place to build a nuclear power plant ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  2. Thanks for the News, but changes in our Climate are killing Humans, today. And, you didn't really get past coal, did ya, UK?

  3. $34 billion so far — Like HS2 and its overspend of ten times over its first year costings — oh and they cut half the route

  4. EDF declined to comment — Do you realise how much they charge for doing anything — it's an inciting cash cow for the French

  5. Environmentalist again stopping us from have energy security. This will be come a common issues environmentalistโ€™s trying to stop the building of nuclear plants all across the uk. They need to get off their high hose and look at the larger picture.
We need nuclear itโ€™s greener than any other type or renewable even with the waste and thatโ€™s not a big deal as they make it out to be.
About time we started just building them with out consent as we will get nowhere and will be delayed time and time again.
I for one have problem with it been in my backyard. So I say fโ€ฆโ€ฆ these protesters/environmentalist and get on with it.

  6. Found the REAL weaponized of mass destruction again & desperate acme BOMBINGS led terrorism act to WAR CRIMINALS f.

  7. All jailed thanks? Or endless Ukraine baby's etc. SANCTIONED BLOCKADE & GITMO INSTEAD? OR CLOWNS CIRCUS F AS USUAL…..

  8. The only problem nuclear power plants face is cry babies that are uneducated and would rather pay through the nose for electricityโ€ฆ..cretins!

  9. Why are you using dollers not pounds. Scotland needs to leave England we are green its London who are black with fossil fuel

  10. If the need water and they are that safe then put the new plant in London who need the energy… They have water it's just money for the boys screw the environment. What's the point of having safe zones natural beauty to get a faild unelected government to screw it all up..

  11. Shipping water in what happing when a pandemic so bad you can't go out not even to bring the plant water. It goes critticle. It's not nuclear we need it's wind sea and solar..

  12. Typical NIMBY behaviour…they have no clue that nuclear is the MOST environmentally friendly form of energy..

  13. The UK and Europe are facing droughts and water shortages and yet the fools want to build nuclear plants and just one plant to power few thousands homes only would cost ยฃ20 billion or $34 billion! And those homes will pay higher electricity prices and will have no option to go for another provider!!!

Just look at the heatwaves hitting Europe badly, and how rivers around nuclear plants in France had to pause due to shortage of millions litres of fresh waters!!!
Nuclear is not the answer and never will be, and the world will go back to woods for fire after fossil fuels end!!!

  14. Everyone is going to be held to ransom by energy prices. The best solution is to heavily insulate your home so you can heat your home with a candle.

  15. One do not build in a flood zone especially nuclear, and 2 the tax payer should not pay let the energy firms who will profit billions like they are now with their false inflation driven profits causing real inflation. What they profit this year alone can pay for it so let them foot the full bill as they are the only ones who will profit and in a suitable location.

  16. If tax payers are going to pay for it why not just set up our own organisation to build these plants. Also to experiment with different designs.

Scotland would be the best place for this important research ๐Ÿ‘

  17. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ oh yeah I forgot cooling system needs water

  18. The water issue isn't a problem if they build cooling towers. I swear no one is doing their research. Garbage journalism

  19. Good news indeed keep up the good work Russia we now see the opresas going down nicely ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐ŸคฃโœŒ
