Heating oil is diesel with a red dye put into it, to show that the road tax wasn't paid on the fuel.
When I was in the army, the barracks would run out of heating oil, and we would take a few gallons of fuel out of the trucks for the furnace.

My local supplier here in NC said there are no shortages or delivery issues. He is informed and not guessing. Thank you Rudy.

The problem is..we do not have the capability to refine the kind of crude oil we produce in America into the kind of diesel we use in America..we HAVE to import it..where ard we goj g to get it? Or are we going to build refineries or rehab the old ones?

Would hate to think that a certain political party has run through all of our strategic oil reserves to hold onto power, just for it to backfire and not get the result they were after! That would mean that We the People have the power!
FYI it was the Cia/fbi who did the hack not some random group.
So AP if I understand this correctly, even on full production our reserve is only so many days? Wow, talk about a way to skew the info. However it seems to me that in good times that the powers that be do need to increase the reserves to to have a good buffer against future problems. Oh wait, only us preppers think like that! I also feel that all the oil drilling and refining not done here in US because of our strict polution rules is over the top hypocrisy. Either pollution is a problem or not our passing the buck does not clear our name. The pollution is ours to own even if not done here.
I was contacted yesterday by my diesel supplier and there is a shortage of dyed un-taxed diesel on the East coast. This is a fact. However, only time will tell if it continues beyond the 2 week projected period they think normalcy returns.
Take Brandon to the wood shed !!! And start drilling and stop sending my tax dollars over sea and close the dam boarders . Demand that the government start saturation these other countries from shipping and trading with them .go back to Trump's policies .
