I’m pretty new to Dahlias – this is my second year trying to grow them. Last years ones rotted in my clay bog……….clearly I didn’t make good use of Google or other Youtube videos on how to grow Dahlias! I got excited and plopped them in. Not my best idea.
This year I ordered more bulbs than I have room for, so some are destined to live in pots. I’ve decided this is a good thing as I can keep them around the different seating areas in our garden to enjoy from many vantage points. Justification enough? I think so! Although I do plan to weed and sort out an older raised bed and use the square foot garden technique for a little cut flower garden this year.
Join me on this, my first Dahlia Haul and we can learn a bit together. Hopefully I have some beautiful blooms after Christmas to share with you.
