Your container gardens look amazing! (And we’re not just saying that…really!) But how are you going to keep them looking that great all summer, especially when the heat hits? Here’s our best tips for you.
Your plants need food all summer, just like you enjoy BBQ all summer. Use water soluble fertilizer for easy to use plant food, that is also easy for your plants to absorb. If you’re going away on vacation then make sure to feed them with a slow release fertilizer formula before you go, so they will look just as great when you return!
Not sure how much water is too much water? Stick your finger in the soil and see if it’s wet. If it is, then your plants don’t need water. Otherwise, give them a great big drink first thing in the morning to help them get through the heat of the day. As they get bigger they’ll need more water!
