As a Vikings fan it's embedded in most of us to be realistic to pessimistic. This team is not good but has talent. They are getting lucky when last year they were unlucky. To me the 14 three and outs in the last 2 games is alarming.
Donatell playing a prevent cover 2 shell when the Vikings have the lead drives me crayz.
Is cousins ever going to earn his keep?? 26th in yards per attempt. 16th in QBR and rating. I enjoyed him running and finally putting his body on the line for the team. Why can't he hit the open WRs? Why does he continue to check it down instead of hitting open WRs for first downs??
National media's obsession with QB wins is so annoying, saying Vikings winning because of improvement in qb play. Kirk was amazing last year and most likely better than he's been this year. But Kirk got no love last year just because the Vikings weren't winning, and that was because of coaching, defense, and closing games out which has improved greatly this year.

Some analyst (I forget who or when this season) said "this is a year that anything can happen," and week after week we see upsets from around the league that seem like they shouldn't happen. Yet for all this, the Vikings manage to win consistently and find a way to not let "anything happen." Why for the love of God, then, does no one in the media seem ready to give them any credit but spend most of their time whining about how bad the other team was?
Wait till the players start to really learn KOC's playbook that's when the Vikings are going to be very scary.

I think it’s ironic that Florio is now praising Cousins when statistically he’s doing worse than the last few years. Kirk has had one of the highest number of 4th quarter drives in the past few years. The difference this year is they are not blowing late leads.

I couldn't believe my eyes either! I screamed "No WAY!!" Loved to see it, and the way he got up and stood up after launching himself for the TD had swagger. The chains around his neck are paying off LOL But then he proceeds to force a pass to JJ who is man-to-man when he could have just run it one extra yard, which was widely open in front of him, for the first down. He misses the pass and kills the drive. Love my QB, but man, so frustrating sometimes. He has actually decided against running for the first down and forcing an unsuccessful pass this season already, before this game. I love to see him running more than he has before but he needs to just get that first down. SKOL!
