  1. I think we need to plant as much as we can …it was $93 to fill my diesel truck up ..the gauge was at half a tank

  2. Alan, could you not just mix the entire top layer to redistribute the old fertilizer? I would say take one of those 3 tine hand rakes and just scratch one side into the other to distribute it well. Then add the fresh fertilizer down the middle (or wherever depending on what you are planting). I would think what is left of the old fertilizer is pretty well spent but you might get some use out of it and I hate tossing used container soil. Maybe I'm too frugal? I've been using wicking tubs and I'm looking more and more at getting some earth boxes. The older I get the harder it is to keep up with wide raised beds in the traditional way.

  3. We're done for the year here in Western Kentucky. Only thing I'm planting are some Peach seeds I saved to see if I can get them to sprout next spring? Do you have a video showing the best way to get them to come up? I've had the peach pits in my refrig since July.

  4. HUGE Storages on heading our way.. Last Friday, a major fuel logistics company issued a warning detailing that the fuel shortage was due in part to a historically low supply of diesel reserves. #thanksBiden

  5. Got all the fall crops planted and a few okra and eggplant hanging on. My beans are slowing down so I hope to get one more round before it gets cold in central Texas

  6. YIKES !!
In my part of Texas, you do NOT lift up a container and stick your hand under it.

If the reason it's sitting raised on one side is due to the fact it's resting on a big ol' copperhead, you'll be the first to know!

  7. Enjoyed the video. Fall planting started but still waiting for dixondale onion plants in Nov. Thanks for sharing 🙏 😎 🏖 🏝

  8. I'm waiting, until after this Saturday, to plant the rest of my cabbages, broccoli, etc. We are supposed to be in for some heavy rain! (Thankful for the rain, I just hope it doesn't flood!) My first time, trying to garden, through the winter.
    Blessings, from SE TX!

  9. Here from Maryland zone 7 and I have got my 1st ever Fall/Winter gardening in with some cole crops or cold season crops like radish, lettuce, swiss chard, bok choy, cabbage, beets, kale and snow peas. You are one of the few guys who understand you can almost garden year round and it's funny to see that most experienced people just give up around here. I might plant some more so I have succession crops throughout winter but it's getting cold and I don't want the water to freeze in my pipes when it gets around 35F at night.
