  1. Andrew any thoughts about building your own 4way splitter head for the log splitter 🤔🤔🤔

  2. I love your channel and everything about it. Till I have to wonder why you didn't install a masonry heater in your house with some kind of heat exchanger for hot water 🤔

  3. Andrew have you considered allowing puppy to run home, following you for strength building?

  4. Andrew get ready the south will have a winter this year. Been studying weather now since 2005 when I started chasing hurricanes as an adjuster and from what I’m seeing here I’m North Texas we’re going t have a wet and cold winter. So went it’s wet and cold there going to be ice and snow.

  5. have you saw the tool that goes on a 1/2 inch drill to split fire wood. you may like that tool. be bless

  6. I have almost the same splitter I got from Tractor supply .i took the engine and pump off mine and i run mine off the AUX output on the rear of my 4066 thing is so much easier to use and quieter .

  7. What was the reasoning to buy the splitter as stand alone and not as a 3-point implement? I have the same for my tractor and find it easier to store and maintain.
Also, a tip to consider, I got lots of pallets for free and made one good one out of three. Used the remaining wood for sides and used some old metal roof scraps as roof. Now in winter time I can move a pallet of wood easy with my front loader under the porch. I see you dont have a front loader but you could use/built a 3-point attachment to grab a pallet. Less handling – I am all for efficiency as I am getting older.

  8. It's so nice to see you with your new little pal hanging out together!
Also, how long does it take for logs that size to dry enough to be burned?

  9. Hi, Andrew! Watching you split logs is very soothing and relaxing to me. Ruger is happy no matter how loud your projects are.

  10. Hi Andrew we have had a very lite frost but nothing like what you have got so far. You would think it would be reversed. You have that beautiful fire pit for o keep you warm, nothing better on a chilly night.

  11. Cherry burns pretty darn good and puts out real good heat after only being split for a couple weeks if you've got a good bed of coals I used to heat with only wood and hard maple and cherry are great for even constant warmth

  12. Andrew, I’m in SW Ohio and we’ve had a snow squal a,ready and about seven of those frosts you just had. And your right, it IS EARLY, even here! I’m bracing for😂 a baaaad winter with record cod spells. In Ohio that means 3 to 5 day stretches at -20 BELOW ZERO! Now THAT IS COLD!

  13. Your dreaming bro the weather is getting hotter not colder that's a Floridian for ya can't handle a little cool snap

  14. Well I maybe I shouldn't talk too much cuz we're about the same over here in Ontario near the St Lawrence Seaway Prescott area anyways but it is getting chilly except for today was beautiful over here it was really really hot so real nice hey how's Ruger

  15. This wood splitter is to slow. You it’s to cold in there you are. In the Ron go place move to Ontario canada

  16. I love the way that Ruger loves to just hang out with you, No matter what your doing. Another great video.

  17. I split my wood by hand. Thank god I don’t heat with it! Just recreational fires so I don’t need much.

  18. Hey Andrew! I'm glad you got a chance for folk's not in Florida to see firsthand some of our weather. We had 26°, 28, 30 and below 40. The weather here is cyclical. In Northwest Florida we routinely cycle and get snow ever 7-10 year's. I used to deliver newspapers at 2:am in 10° and snowing on a motorcycle – 25 papers at a time before I had to go get warm🤣. When I worked for FDOT we finally got salt truck's to keep the bridges and interstate open. For my 60 year's I've always kept up with the weather and you are correct that if it gets cold early it usually ends up being a long, cold winter. We had our first noticeable cool spell was in August this year when it hovered around 40 to 50°. What most folk's miss or fail to realize is the humidity plays an important roll in our weather even in winter because it runs right through you. Anyway, have a great day and keep up the good work.

  19. It was pretty cold last night. One of our Nigerian does is ready to give birth any day now. Hoping she doesn't do it in the middle of the night when its really cold! Ruger gets bigger with every video! ♡ We are getting another Great Pyrenees pup this weekend. The coyotes have been fierce here. Our older GP needs help.

  20. Hi Andrew, how long do you usually wait to split, after you cut the logs up into 16” sections? Or is it ok to split fairly soon after you cut up the log?

  21. Thank you for the video I love the wood splitter videos. I use a precisely cut piece of wood at the base of the splitter as a spacer to reduce my cycle times.
