  1. How fun! The decorations are amazing. I would put paper bags with a cup of sand and the battery operated tea lights in it to line the path, not a ton of them but every 10/20 ft, especially for the steps? Maybe? Just a thought. Happy Halloween!

  2. You fell into a shrubbery. Please restore it; you may need a shrubbery some day when you are on a quest.

  3. I love Holly’s pumpkins 🎃 so cool and her decorations are amazing. I would love to try your Halloween 👻 Trail looks like so much spooky fun! I love all the skeletons on the trail. 🎃it’s fun to get a bit scared 😱 on the trail and the swamp monster, What fun 👏. I think it was Nestor who scared Julie.

  4. Julie, as someone who grew up in the US, you should have been ready for that kind of Halloween trick. I literally laughed out loud watching this.

  5. What a gem Hollie is! Such dedication and beautiful hard work. I thought the names on the tombs were very good!! Love watching you both walking through the trail which is a great idea as a halloween event. Love to you all including the swamp monster (Nestor?)!

  6. Hahaha. Julie's so funny! Lololol
    Happy Halloween!
Are there haunted houses in England. .?
    Fake haunted houses?

  7. I am surprised you didn't have a lantern light ; we used to use those when my church made the trip to the old Bethpage village here in the US.

  8. Can we just give a wonderful shout out to the mikes you two are wearing! Thank you! Thank you! Very appreciated !! :):):):)

  9. The scream sounds a lot like Nestor. It was both funny and worrying to see Julie got shocked and then consequently fall into the hedge. 😅

  10. I think the swamp monster was one of your kids! As an adult, I'd do the Halloween trail. Maybe adults only at night? Happy spookiness-

  11. Jess (the artist) the painting of the Italian buildings, that you did, is amazing… and then to actually meet Julie & Luke in person was awesome.

  12. I'm guessing it was Nestor who scared Julie into the hedge, then helped her out of the hole. Holly and Jess are both great artists.

  13. This show is a success due entirely to this lady's personality; but, all that screaming was a bit too much emoting dear lady. You can carry this show entirely without any screaming. Carry on.

  14. Oh my goddess , those carved pumpkin faces are so funny and so well done! 🎃 All the decorations are gorgeous, Halloween gorgeous 😅

  15. 😂😂😂 Great trail. A few low lights and you could open it at night for big kids.
Julie – I'm glad you were not badly hurt. I agree with others, the Swamp Thing was Nestor.
Luke, so funny! Love your very dry humor, such as when you said "triffid". So low key. We don't say that over here, but should! Now, to Mulholland Drive. I've driven on it many times, but haven't seen the movie. Yet.

  16. I like Julie's reaction 1) Which kid was that? and 2) Caroline is going to kill me.

  17. If you guys ever decide to open the garden at night over Halloween, it would add a very effective layer of spook to have strategic very dim lights here and there not just to identify the path, but also to dimly light the insides of things like there's something scary in there. It would also be really effective to add quiet little sounds in spots, not anything loud or obvious like screams, but like a sigh coming from the dark. Maybe also have mist randomly somewhere, like at one of the pools, and have that very dimly lit as well. I think you could probably power them by solar as well, so you wouldn't need to worry about cords. If you kept it understated, I think it would be really effective.

  18. Happy Halloween 🎃 Julie & Luke, the grounds look great. What kid was that had me laughing. I need to go rake wet leaves before Trick or Treating and pick up dinner it’s our 38th anniversary. 😆👻🇺🇸🍫🍭

  19. Do a Thanksgiving show and I really love your Christmas shows as well. Looking forward to more of Mapperton Live and American Viscountess! By the way, the episode on the Beavers arrival was well needed that day. Well done you guys!

  20. The place is beautifully old with plenty of historical layers. It’s bound to have some spirits wandering about enjoying themselves and watching the changes and all the work that goes in to the maintenance of the estate. Your ancestors are there guiding you much like a guardian angel if you will. ☺️
