  1. Becky you are so right about the garlic making your hands raw, I found out the hard way a few weeks ago. I literally "burned my 2 thumbs and 4 fingers peeling garlic, I really didn't know that could happen and I think there should be a warning label for people that are new to peeling it in bulk amounts. (I only did like 30 heads and WOW, unreal what it can do to your hands.

  2. Lol how much is that doggy in the window? Awwww
My splurge purchase when I’m buying garlic is to get smoked garlic. It adds an entirely new note of flavour to the dish.

  3. Becky you are absolutely amazing and Josh too of course, you should be very proud of yourselves, bless your beautiful hearts 😍 💕

  4. I break the bulbs in half and then I cut the bottoms and tops off all the cloves at my nice then the paper comes off so much easier. It is a little wasteful because you loose the tops but you could save the tops and use it for broth that you want to have a garlic taste

  5. Oh, I love your channel. This garlic episode was so interesting. I'm from Florida and during the Hurricane, I was so scared. I'm senior living alone with 4 Chihuahuas. I started watching a series of episodes and before I knew it, several hours has pasted. The whole time I was so relaxed and I felt like you were a neighbor talking to me. I forgot all my troubles and the Hurricane had past over us with no significant damage. Thank you for keeping me calm and so interested in your content. Betty/Tampa Fl❤

  6. I also feel like I have been invited to her home! I enjoy being with her family. I enjoy her mom & mom in law! They are precious!! Becky has really blessed me.

  7. I need the video or recipe on how u made that chicken with potatoes and garlic 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

  8. I have a question I hope you (or anyone who knows) can answer for me. I know you make bread but do you freeze your dough? If you do can you please tell me the process to defrost it to use. Do I just put it on the counter and it will rise? Do I need to put it in the fridge first? I've asked other folks but they either don't freeze dough or haven't answered me. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

  9. I have to ask, where did you get your table, if it was not a local shop near you? I love the live edge and how long it is! I hipe the biscuits turn out well. What was great for us, on top of freezer or easy to pull together meals, was someone bringing over dinners for us when I had my first and then with my second and third, my in-laws came up.

Edit: I forgot to add, Lisa from Farmhouse on Boone uses the same flour quiet a bit, she has tons of recipes on what to make with it and how to use it. Definitely check her out, same with sourdough!

  10. HI, I'm a new visitor to your channel👋 I've been kinda binge watching😁
One question, have you ever thought of getting a wireless mic? or do voice over on some parts? Since your kitchen is large and sound echoes so your voice is sometimes hard to hear clearly. It's just a thought though…

  11. your kitchen is so so beautiful! i hope to one day have such a gorgeous kitchen 🥰
i dont know if i'd be strong enough to eat garlic after peeling so much of it 😂looks delicious though!

  12. I started chopping and freezing onions & peppers and freezing things flat! Thank you for sharing your tips, I love learning from you!

  13. My non profit, used pumpkin rolls to raise funds for several years. We had community volunteers bake a recipe we gave them and we sold them at Thanksgiving. We made several thousand dollars for our children’s grief center each year. It grew so large and had such a reputation that we finally had to call it quits! I loved watching you bake yours, it brought back wonderful memories to me, the founder of Olivia’s House, a grief and loss center for children in York, Pa. Thanks for that! ❤

  14. I'm concerned for you and your guests because partially cooking chicken and then refrigerating it breeds bacteria. Was everyone okay?

  15. i tried to bake the bread in glass and it was perfect. i think you just need to be able to cover it and it's totally fine. thank you becky for the recipe it has made it in to my hand written recipes collection for my future children. <3

  16. Scoring is done to get more height to your finished product, instead of side expansion. Your loaves were very nice looking!!

  17. The hard neck varieties of garlic usually are a lot smaller and they form only one row of cloves. The soft neck varieties are bigger with usually multiple rows of cloves.

  18. Becky, I love your show. I watched every episode for the last 2 years. I have a question to you about your garlic peeling party. The whole idea is to get other people help you to do it correct? So why is it that you did most of the dirty work before anyone even came? I'm just wondering. Your dogs are precious in the background in the window. Take care of yourself. God bless you and your family.

  19. I made this recipe in a round cake pan (aluminum.) I did not preheat pan and did use parchment paper. The bread was not crusty on outside, but still delicious!

  20. I make quite a few different no knead bread recipes and don't cook any of them in a cast iron pan. They work perfectly fine. I'm confident yours would too

  21. It’s a beautiful day when Becky post. Thank you Becky for all you share with us. You make everything more fun 🥰

  22. Stratification usually for seeds, can be warm treating it cold treating. Vernalization is cold treating reduces vegetative growth in favor of bulbing (and flower production in some seed)

  23. Becky I made my first loaf of white bread using your recipe. It turned out great, and very tastey! Some crusty crust, with yummy inside. I will keep practicing making this bread. Thank you so much, I love your videos!
