  1. My big score for the week was 40 pounds of chicken breast tenderloin for 40$ though a friend that owns a restaurant. Got 2 cases…

  2. Had to laugh how you described the Dollar General near your home. It's the same story with the Dollar General near my home. I've never gone in there but from all the stories I've heard I am NOT going in there. I'll google Dollar General in my area and check out one near by. Thanks for sharing the finds, you definitely got some good deals.

  3. Great haul, Jinne. I always forget about DG. And, if you were able to shop on Saturday, you would have saved an additional $5.

  4. That is the only body wash I can use and my area stores stay out of it. I finally caught the clerk stocking 1 case of it and bought 3 bottles. I have 8 dollar general stores within a 10 minute drive or less and all were out our dollar tree has also been out . The absorbine patches are better than the tiger balm to me. Out of the 3 dollar generals in my small town all 5 minutes away 1 store is always a mess. The shelves are always empty but the boxes of stock are always on those big rolling carts sitting in the isles. They have 1 cashier that stays busy with customers the manager is always either in the back or in the office with nobody stocking the store. I have difficulty walking without my cart and I can never get it down the isles. It's a shame because the store that stays messed up the most is the store closest too my house. God bless everyone, stay safe !

  5. I don't buy boxes of food there anymore.
As i enter the store, the fragrance is so strong throughout that the Macaroni from a box smelled like it even after cooking it. Couldn't eat it. Paper products also had the fragrance. I've sometimes had a headache by the time I got to the check out.

  6. That's an amazing haul, Jinne! How fun for you to take the time to hunt for all those items that cost $1 or less, each. Great way to show all of us how we can really stretch our money and fill in some gaps in our prepper pantries. TFS! Have a great weekend!

  7. That's a really Great haul, a good mix.👍
TFS HC, take care & keep busy everyone. ❤🙂🐶

  8. Good video. Thanks. I find at Dollar General the shelf price is often incorrect on more expensive items. if you are sticking with the $1 items usually ok. The tuna for $1 is a good deal. It's increasing now everywhere over $1 you may find multipack cheaper but not by much.

  9. Our regular grocery store WinCo has been having their store brand macaroni & cheese for 43 cents so we have been getting as it is too good of a price to pass up.

  10. Those were some awesome finds! I love to see what other area's stores have in stock and I saw a few in this haul that I haven't seen in our local DG stores. Next trip I will look for those items and hope I can find them🤞

  11. Love ya Jinnie BUTZ you need to find a new way to reach out or to keep us LOYAL lot of followers, INTERESTED!!
Things are getting boring, same old story and so sorry, but you really need to do something new. Reinvent time.

  12. Same here in Orlando , the Dollar Generals are an awful mess mainly because of lack of employees . I don't even go there .

  13. Be sure to check the DG clearance section when you go. I bought about 20 boxes of tampons for about $2 each a year ago when I found them on clearance. Sometimes they do sales on the clearance stuff as well where you get an additional 50% off combine that with a coupon and you are really making out!

  14. Good idea, but the Dollaar General’s around here have been decimated. There is nothing left on the shelves I would buy, so I don’t waste my time going to empty stores…

  15. Ooh I adore DG. As someone who lives in the country, I rely on it. I can pass by a DG in any direction a few times over before I would ever get to a shopping center or walmart, etc. I pop in and grab a few things regularly. Their Clover Valley pasta is really good. I recently tried it and was impressed with the flavor and texture. Similar to Barilla. Funny, they carry the 2 lb boxes of spaghetti for $2.25, but the single pound box is $1. I wonder if a price change is coming. A decent soup to look for is the Campbells Classics (varieties: ham & bean, Beef & Barley, Potato, Chicken Noodle). Those have been holding at $1. A bargain! I see these offered elsewhere for $1.25 on up. I didnt realize the flexible bandaids were so cheap. I need to grab some next time I am in. Thanks for the posting all this. Love seeing whats good, what's available, and gives me ideas of what to add to my list.

  16. Morning! I enjoy your videos! I love shopping at Dollar General. My store is 2 miles down the road and turned into a mini market. I've been filling my pantry through them. It's budget friendly, for now.

  17. Campbell’s chicken noodle soup is on sale at my local Stop n Shop for 80 cents. I got 10 of them!

  18. Does anyone else on this thread remember when paper grocery bags were replaced by plastic bags to save the trees? Plastic bags are superior to paper…more sturdy and can haul more in one trip from the store. Love those Dollar General plastic bags!

  19. I'm sure you've seen the commercial over the past few years for ABSORBINE JR… its pronounced absorbEEn, not bine!

  20. Same here! Last time I went, they sold beer to a minor. Feels kinda yucky in there, but may give them another try as its been a couple years.

  21. Great haul Jinnie… I bought a few little spray bottles and then just refill them as needed with the peroxide and alcohol. Our local DG is also ALWAYS a mess and I too hate going in there, but we have a new one a little ways out of town and I like shopping at it🙏 Kendra

  22. Those are good bargains. We don't have many Dollar General's in this area, and for some reason most are in areas that aren't safe to go to. There is a Dollar Tree just minutes from us (and more throughout the areas) so I go there more often. On the canned vegetables, are they all from the US and do they have good best by/use by dates? On the soaps, shampoos and lotions, be sure to check on the label to make sure they don't contain parabens. This is a preservative that has been used for years but now many companies are eliminating it due to reported health issues with it so you want to avoid it if possible.

  23. I love the spray peroxide ! Thank you for introducing it to me! 😊

  24. It's been a while since I've been in Dollar General. Charcoal briquets are usually discounted about this time of year, so I'll check out some of these items while I'm in there.

  25. I love the dollar General, I get alot from them where I am dollar tree and dollar General are right next to each other ,,I go to DG before going DT …get many better deals for only $1

  26. Another thrifty haul. You are to funny "Looks like it was just looted" Well said & I am sure we have all been in stores like that. Love your humor.

  27. I rather "inherited" two handicapped adults a few years back. Having to shop and cook for them, I learned quickly that it was much cheaper to buy many things at Dollar General Market (then go over to Dollar Tree Market) versus regular supermarkets. I filled up a shopping cart for $100 versus 3 bags for $100. Same name brands for a much cheaper cost. Guess it's like buying an outfit at some Expensive Clothing Store versus buying the exact same outfit at Walmart – without the big Name attached to it. Exact same thing, but soo much cheaper. Got to watch though – Dollar Tree corn is $1.25 where Dollar General corn is .85. I "skweeze" every penny now, and am doing ok on my own – believe me! 😂
