  1. Oleanders are all over in Arizona too. And when cats are sick with something terminal they will crawl into these oleander bushes and pass away in the bushes. We use to have one in my neighborhood and their was a hand full of stray cats that disappeared into those bushes. When the owner cleaned them up he found some deceased kitties. It was so sad. 😭

  2. How about a bowling ball? It would be like a 13 bowling ball falling on your head. A pine cone the same weight as a heavy bowling. Scary.

  3. My understanding is that the Garden of Eden is located and what is today I ran, so I doubt that it was the fruit from the Cerera Odollym tree that Eve ate

  4. In Australia the Angel trumpet or datura I don't know how it's spelt but alot of kids at my school used to trip balls off that stuff and 5 16yo school kids one of them had been on it for 3 day's the other 4 hadn't even tried a cigarette or alcohol but after the girl told them how good it was they all decided just once so they went to her house she boiled it for the fourth time so they all had a drink and 3 went too I.C.U one was put on a machine that keeps you alive. What the girl didn't know is the more the flower sits in a pot and gets boiled each day had made the plant's effect stronger so never play the Trumpet 🎺 ok

  5. A lot of Australian names are from indigenous Australians so that’s probably why it sounds odd to us

  6. The oleander is mostly used to kill bug and specially mosquitoes that’s why the keep them and that’s why my grandpa got a full garden of them

  7. Oleander isn’t toxic to touch, but it is to ingest. It contains cardiac glycosides and when ingested in large quantities will cause acute cardiac arrhythmia and other issues. One of the cardiac glycosides is actually digitoxigenin which can actually be found in many cardiac drug medications for humans. I do landscaping in Florida and have trimmed these many of times and I also have a certification as a veterinary technician.

  8. Why is are the younger generations mispronouncing everything. Oleander….is there an "a" in front? No. OH-lee-and-er, not AH-lee-and-er. That's not the only one either. I hear mispronunciations all the time for commonly used words. WHY?! I love this channel, I do, but the mispronunciation is making me crazy.

  9. Irritating to watch. Will hopefully (please!) have different people on this forum, as topic is very interesting, but jokes sooo childish.

  10. Don't feel alone Melissa, I'm one of those people, too, that bring bugs outside and I have live mousetrap in the house, so that I can drive some way into the fields to set them free. Me and my dogs are also neighbors with a skunk because I don't have the heart to have it killed… 👍😉🐁🐀🐝🕷🐜🦗🦨

  11. The plants of rhododendron and mountain laurel here in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee are poisonous and everywhere.

  12. I live in USA, Georgia *right above florida. We had angel trumpets when I was a little girl. I'm pretty sure I even put one up to my mouth cuz ya know trumpet.. But I was fine..

  13. What is this nonsense of witchcraft and trying to diacount Biblical truths and talking weird/ i.e. obviously like someone practicing occult? Goodness, they make list videos.

  14. A good estimation of 13lbs is a bowling ball. Yeah, that would kill you if it fell off a tree and it your head.

  15. Also the White oleander leaves are poisonous causing the Old South when my woman was being abused they would pull the oleander leaves which is completely tasteless added the food and poison their husbands or their lovers so the White oleander leaves are toxic and very very poisonous I know I'm from the south in a lot of people use those for landscaping and foldage really have no clue so I thought I'd update you on that no harm no foul but they are very toxic and if the leaves are boiled and put in food it'll kill you fly out the leaves are very toxic and very poisonous he's still guys are still fantastic though I love anything bumblebee or all the others too plus so you make me happy just that I give you a little education on the oleander. 🇺🇲☮️🎃

  16. Don't underestimate the Gympie Gympie Tree. According to botanical experts who have been stung by the tiny fibrous hairs compare it to being burned by hot acid and electrocuted at the same time and the pain has lasted for months gradually decreasing and sometimes even years. The hairs are like fibre glass and break off at the surface of the skin making it almost impossible for even hospitals to remove them completely. There is a legend of a man who used a leaf as toilet paper and ended up using his own rifle to rid himself thus also his pain not sure if this is true but it has claimed one life of a human and a horse according to an Australian Geographic article from 2009. It is definitely a no joke as it is also called the (word YouTube doesn't like) tree and it also grows in Indonesia.

  17. This melisa girl is really ruining this channel for me. Her insensitive comments on African tribes really done it and I turn it anytime I see her pop up smh

  18. Suicide tree. Creepy. I don't know why YouTube don't like it. Well it means killing yourself and giving your life. It's against the terms

  19. I live in South East Queensland and my workplace has a few Bunya pines around. There's also several signs near them warning people about the pinenuts falling.

  20. I imagine that most trees, plants and watering holes (i.e billabong)were named by the aboriginal tribes of Australia. It's no weirder than scheiser!(excuse the spelling).

  21. Australia has the greatest number of poisonous plants and venomous animals. That and the majority of the island is made up of inhospitable desert. The whole country is basically a Hell-Mouth.

  22. Melissa just said the gympie gympie is the prettiest poisonous tree only for her to move to the third and second entry where the oleander and the angels trumpet were featured and I'm like yo those plants are so pretty I'd keep them on my garden if they weren't so poisonous.

  23. Omg i never knew trees can be so dangerous that it LITERALLY kills humans
