Container Gardening

The Herb Container Garden – A Quick Tour, Scallions, Chervil, Blue Basil, More!

I’d like to show you how everything is growing in the herb container garden for the spring. We’ve had a lot of rain and the herbs love it.
Just a few of the plants include chervil, scallions, basil, thyme, mint, chives, and more! I also want to show you how well some leafy greens are growing in the GreenStalk system. Spinach, endive, chard, lettuce, and more are all doing great in the vertical growing system!

  1. Looks beautiful!! I keep replanting my dill after it gets eaten up by something in my garden. My chamomile too. Think I'm just going to pick up a few plants from the nursery.

  2. Is that a special strain of French tarragon? I have six French Tarragon plants that I grew from seed this year.

  3. Donna, Ms. Lulu and I love your container garden videos! Container gardening is more approachable (do-able) for us than regular gardening. I need to try basil and cilantro at least! I use them in many recipes! Thank you for showing the way!

  4. I love all the videos but really love the herb videos the best! You do a beautiful job Donna.

  5. Your calamondin orange looks so big and healthy. Mine seems to have stalled out. The leaves are green but it's just not growing. Not sure what to do. It's only 2 years old I think so I know it won't fruit yet, but I don't want it to die either.

  6. nice hurb garden I have a hurb garden going I really love hurbs I use a lot of them in the summer and in other recipes

  7. good afternoon rainbow garden !! love love love them herb container and tower system !! beautiful display of herbs !! great update on your herb seedlings and plants !! infact the whole garden is stunning !! thank for sharing and happy growing !!

  8. Any advice on growing Dill? My herb garden is looking great, plenty of Basil, Chives, Mint, Rosemary, Calantro, but my a I cannot get my Dill, to, it just dies. I have purchased 3 very healthy plants and I can't seem to get it to stay that. tried full sun, partial sun, no direct sun, plenty of love and water, but to no avail.

  9. Donna, your container garden has been an inspiration to me to grow more on our deck year after year.  Thank you for the great video!  Happy gardening! Catherine
