Leave your worries behind and step into the peaceful forest of Clingendael, The Hague in The Netherlands. Meditative and healing music with lush sounds of the forest and zen of the Japanese garden.
Our visit to Clingendael Estate greatly inspired us and we created these three tracks to accompany the ethereal beauty of the forest and gardens. We turned the footage and photo’s, that beautiful evening in May, into this video. This became the first iteration of our series the Forest Diaries. We plan on visiting many more enchanting forests, to let them inspire us to create a soundtrack and share them with you!

This track was inspired by the beautiful forest and Japanese Garden in Clingendael Estate, The Hague.
The track takes you on a journey into the quiet, zen-like enchantment of the forest. Atmospheric vibes with a soft piano melody leading you into a deep state of relaxation.

The traditional Japanese Garden is natural beauty at its most impressive. Ancient aesthetic brilliance from the Land of the Rising Sun.
Far away a koto is playing a hypnotizing, repetitive melody ever changing like the movement of the seasons. Rich, atmospheric pads provide the harmony that balances the elements.

Clingendael Estate:
It encompasses Huys Clingendael, a beautiful forest with multiple walking routes, an Old Dutch Garden and the Japanese Garden.
The Japanese Garden was created in the beginning of the 20th century by Baroness Lady Daisy who sailed a number of times to Japan and brought back plants, lanterns, sculptures and some small bridges. In 2001 it became a National Historic Monument. Due to its fragility the Japanese Garden is only open to the public for a couple of weeks, usually in may and October. The Garden has a serene pond, meandering creek, a pavilion with spectacular view and twisting paths.
Our visit to the Estate greatly inspired us and we created these three tracks to accompany the ethereal beauty of the forest and gardens.
