Salad can be grown in almost any container because of its small size, small root structure and low tending needs. When selecting a container for your own small size salad garden, be sure to consider the naturalness of the container, the size, the durability, the sustainability and of course, the beauty.
Here I use a terra cotta pot, a stainless steel tub, a cedar fence plank growing box and also a wool grow bag.
Learn the pros and cons of each growing container and which one I enjoy growing salad in a small space in most.
