  1. Hollo, Jim Putnam and Stephany. Gardening is amazing way to be outdoors with nature. Love your garden and Holly. My garden right now is very dry too.I don't clean the garden until January. many insets living in it now. Love ❀️. Thank you.

  2. Thank you Jim, garden still looks nice but winter is definitely coming. πŸπŸ‚πŸπŸ‚πŸ’šπŸ™ƒ

  3. Does it ever rain in raleigh???? Im watching this thinking i have never seen the rain in your videos! Its been lashing here for weeks😒🌧

  4. Jim and Stephany, I love how you planted the vegetables in color blocks, it looks great and adds interest to the entire garden.

  5. It’s really hard to pull out the annuals this fall! They are still looking so good & I hate to disrupt all the pollinators 🐝 I have to say that the seed dahlias & gomphrena are the stars! Such amazing bloomers! I have started to collect seed where I can.

Love how your garden is evolving!

  6. What a beautiful garden. Thank you for your videos! And might I add, " Holly is just adorable!

  7. Here, on the other side of the pond, autumn colour is also doing well during this warm spell. Dahlias, salvias, heleniums, etc. are prob looking better now than in the summer. Your video is a good reminder to folks that summer doesn’t end in September. Your idea of veg growing in blocks is excellent and one I will copy in my own veg patch next year instead of the traditional rows.
    Love Holly’s participation too

  8. I’m in Michigan, zone 6, and still no sign of frost! Annuals still going strong. A very strange year for sure!

  9. Holly is just adorable πŸ₯° Garden still looking great Jim! πŸͺ΄ (πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ subscriber)

  10. Culleoka, middle TN, got down to 29 2 nights in a row. Wiped out everything but asters. Thank GOd for asters, feeding bees and few butterflies. I live in a valley in the country. Always colder here. Love your garden

  11. Always love seeing pets in the garden. Holly is a sweet one, and thanks to both of you taking us for a stroll. Wonderful color. I'm surprised we are still seeing Monarchs in our SW Michigan garden, plenty to feed on though, especially the tall Verbenas and Mexican Sunflower! That Hydrangea is beautiful, I will search and see if you've done a video on that one. Looks like it can take more shade?

  12. Jim….will you cut perennials to the ground once they get brown or wait until spring? Some of mine look horrible.

  13. Well of course Holly steals the show she just want to be a beautiful flower addition to the garden!!! Such a sweet pup!!!! Thanks Jim great tour!!

  14. Ms. Holly is waiting for her fall "Photo Shoot " in all the beautiful colors 😊 Hi Jim & Stephanie! Ya'll have fantastic color still! WOW that Lettuce color is amazing. Veggie garden looks great!!

  15. Thanks for the tour! The freeze killed my summer jewel salvia to the ground (GA 8a). There are still a few leaves at the base so I may move them to a sheltered spot for the winter & see if a few come back (an experiment!) When I prepped for the freeze I found one stem of a red summer jewel growing between our patio & Bermuda grass! I pulled it up to overwinter. My white Cuphea is still blooming!

  16. I've been watching your channel for a few years or more and I gotta say the knowledge you share on this platform is invaluable. I really enjoy and look forward to all your videos. Thank you Jim and Stephanie for your hard work and inspiration. ❀️
