Join me while I Harvest my 2022 sweet potatoes 🥔. Hurricane 🌀 Ina 2022 is coming and I didn’t want the sweet potatoes to get flooded in the storm. I harvested everything that I could and pulled tomato cages so that they won’t blow around. The harvest was good but I did overcrowd the tote which negatively effected my harvest I will only add 2 plants to each tote and pile the dirt in a lot higher next time.
It is better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. This includes food and knowledge of how to grow food. Emergency food supplies are necessary, and we should know this from our experiences over the last 3 years going to the stores and there is not much there restricted hours, lining up and waiting in line to enter. If it happened once it can happens again. Please take heed that emergency survival supplies are necessary whether big or small have SOMETHING.
