It’s good you chose to do Gingin’s quest because Gingin is actually important for a quest you will definitely want to do later.
7:00 Gingin's quest will be important for another good quest later. In fact, remember that silent Nopon in the prison cell… he'll only talk to a certain Hero. Also, sorry to say there isn't any Tele-pads in the lower forest, except for that Unique Monster, but there is an elevator shortcut back to the Colony you can find.
45:00 To get to that fog of war area, just go left of the Hulk.

You figured out how to get that one chest a lot quicker than I did. Took me forever to figure out that I had to drop down from above.
The reason some quests are much lower level than the monsters in the quest's area is because you're not meant to actually fight the monsters; the path of the quest actually take you through blind spots in the monsters' detection range. The recommended level is basically the level you need to be at to survive a hit from the monsters if you screw up and need to run, rather than the level for defeating them.
Also, the lower wildwoods don't have much in the way of checkpoints (Landmarks) but there is an elevator that you can activate that lead to a Colony, giving you a shortcut. I highly recommend unlocking it, if you have the time and opportunity.
You really should finish the questline of that big mech in colony 30. Also, affinity is way more important than useless nopon coins.
I hate Zeon's ascension quest. I never wanna hear about the potato fields or spongy spuds ever again.
