Front Yard Garden

10 EASY Halloween Decor & DIYS for your Front Porch (Crafty Beach)

It’s spooky season! Join me as I decorate my front porch for Halloween. I will show you some quick and easy Halloween decoration ideas to make your house look ready for Halloween.

The biggest Halloween DIY today is decorating our life size skeleton. This year I thought she should be a hula dancer since we went to Hawaii this year. This was so fun and easy to decorate and she looks great. I even show you how to make a dollar tree DIY wig.

I adorn the front door for Halloween with my spooky forest wreath (LINK HERE https://youtu.be/yPivGWPcV-4). Love the black and white and simple halloween feel for this on my front door.

I decorate my small porch table with black and white buffalo check dollar tree fabric, a white and black light up pumpkin from target, and a beware bone sign from dollar tree.

Of course, I have to have some skeleton flamingoes to go in my Florida front yard. I picked these up at Walmart years ago, but would be easy to diy.

I bury dollar tree skeleton arms coming out of the landscaping, with dollar tree halloween salad tongs.

I have a great carnivorous plant that I got at Target. They have such a fun selection of halloween plant decor.

I pretend our house is getting attacked by a giant black spider, from Target.

For a door mat, I just use a Hello Pumpkin coir door mat and a black and white buffalo check rug both from Target.

A dollar tree bat costume makes a perfect halloween light decor next to my front door.

I display a howling dog or wolf that we got at Target along with a giant snake skeleton in the landscaping.

  1. After a couple of years of searching, this morning I finally found the seahorse skeletons! I got 3 and I'm just going to hang them on the short fence at one side of my house, along with a coastal living sign ("Home" with a shell).

  2. Awesome decorations! Love the hula skeleton and your wreath. You did a great job on them. I saw some snakes at one of our stores called Dollarama. I should have bought some. I could have laid them out on the lawn and I probably would have put some of the green glo lights in them so they would show up in the dark. I will be starting my decorating tomorrow.

  3. Lots of inspiration! My beat up pink flamingoes will have a new life!
In the past I have stuffed my husbands clothes with newspaper to make a zombie to sit on the porch swing. I think a skeleton will be better! ☠️☠️☠️

  4. THis is my first Hallowe’en with a Skeleton! I’m so excited! 💀 LOVE your Hula dancer one. 💀👍🏻 My Guy’s Name is Fred, and he’s already been through a lot. (I have a playlist on my channel “Days of Fred”)… 😉 and I want a Skeleton dog…. I think your yours is probably a wolf, but I don’t know for sure, whatever he is, he’s great! 😊👍🏻
Your Octopus Bench is awesome! 🐙
Your other decorations are great too. 🎃👍🏻
