  1. Sometime you should try moringa flowers prepared with nuts or coconut it's abundant and nutritious

  2. I always liked those little yellow pyramids on top of deer kidneys when I was younger. I'd eat them raw, get wild eyes, then frolick through the fields, leaping about with the strength of 10,000 angry bumblebees. Adrenal glands consumed raw make your heart pound. Flowers never gave me so much strength…neither did cocaine…but thay was prolly cause what I was buying from tyrone was just baby laxatives mixed with household clraner. That stuff messes you up.for years. But the deer adrenal glands wear off a few days later after you gallop around the forests and eat branbleberries then get diarrheas and pass out naked in cold sweats and shivers.

  3. All of the sunflower is edible. Some parts are pretty fibrous, but edible. Lots of food in a single plant. Most just eat the seeds, bad waste of food I think.

  4. Try black locust flowers. You will never want to eat another flower again. Black locust flowers taste like sweet peas. Sir fry them with scrambled eggs. Or cook them with garlic and pork.

  5. Inreedible Garden. I discovered the kale flower by just trying one yesterday and needed a little confirmation. Thanks John!

  6. John, was talking to a nutritionist at our local farmers' market. She was interested in our Mountain Mint as i was telling her it was our strongest mint. She planned to add it to her salads. I said i've never tried, tho right here available. She said to eat as many strong flavours as possible, cuz overpowering our tastebuds is how we top up our nourishment & boost our immunity, etc. Much thanks for this vid. Post edit: Wow, our bee balm has red flowers. Are any varieties of bee balm related to Bergamot, or are they just a good substitute?

  7. You can also cut the entire head off of the sunflower and grill it with a little bit of cooking oil. This must be done before the seeds are produced.

  8. Thank you for giving dandelions a positive plug. The farmer could be feeding their livestock for free, this beautiful plant requires no watering, no spraying, reseeds itself and it’s healthy. So it’s organic and GMO free. Oh yes I love your channel.

  9. I love having the flowers in the garden because they are so pretty, and they can attract bees, there isn’t much bees this year somehow.

  10. Rose of Sharon flower petals are delicious as well. Although it’s not a crop perse, it is nutritious and beautiful on a salad. Also, young redbud tree pods and the flowers as they appear in early spring. So pretty on a salad or decorate cakes and cookies.
