  1. Wonderful plans for the garden. Looking forward to watching it progress. Take care & cheers ๐Ÿจ๐Ÿฆ˜๐Ÿฅฐ

  2. Where will your "bottle bushes/trees" be located? I really miss seeing them…they are so unique. I'm totally hooked on your channels! LUV ๐Ÿ’‹๐Ÿ’‹๐Ÿ’‹, BIG HUGS ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’– and ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™ PRAYERS to the WHOLE FAMILY and even to your Cog Squad! I feel like part of your family! God Bless!KP, Fort Worth, TEXAS!

  3. Dont use Jasmen around your AC and generater. Bees love that. And if you need to work on them, they could sting you. Boxwood bush. Would be a better choice. Can be cut and shape. Just an idea.

  4. In your sitting area by mother in law, add grass ,shade trees, and plants flowers add a rose garden area for mother in law. Gazebo and maybe a fire pit area.. Just ideas. Looking forward to seeing it all come together. Woo hoo!

  5. Jason and Brook look at a Paper Bush for your setting area .This bush has something for every season the smell of the flower is wonderful .Once it takes hold all you do is enjoy it .

  6. Jason have you seen a Rio Samba itโ€™s a hybrid tea rose that is very fragrant and beautiful. I loved this rose so much that my 1 and only tattoo is of a rio samba. โค

  7. What about water ๐Ÿ’ง ok drip my place i had before this one it had the water draining from the shower and sinks and washer and the dishwasher and all that water went out in the yard underground and watered everything

  8. We tried the cardboard and it created an ant motel! There was millions and millions of ants. I pray it works better for y'all. We are central eastern Alabama.

  9. You will also be able to feed a lot of weeds/cuttings from veg etc. PLUS can grow things like chickweed, comfrey—-these are green stuff that chickens love and thrive on….

  10. I love all your plans! How excited you all must be!
One thing to remember when placing your LP tank. When they come to fill it they're in a hurry. They have to drag hoses to it & they're HEAVY.
Place it not in the center of the garden or the back.
We fought with wasps under the hood. Not fun!
I'd place it along the drive with tall flowers around it except the hood.
Make it easy on your LP man & you'll have a happy relationship.

  11. Love watching you guys, yโ€™all amaze me and inspire me โคsuch great workerโ€™s

  12. You could even use rosemary or another woody herb instead of boxwoods. That way when you โ€˜trimโ€™ them, you can dehydrate & store them for cookingโ€ฆ

  13. Because crabapples and apples are in the same family they can cross-pollinate. If you plant them within 100 feet of eachother then do not save and plant the seeds because they won't grow true to type. They will be a hybrid seed. The fruit on the origional trees won't be affected.

  14. Noooooo… asiatic jasmine is SOOOO aggressive/invasive…it's a pest. I've spent 22 years trying to get that stuff out of my yard… Jason and Brook, please consider another ground cover/erosion control for the bank. How about frog fruit? ๐Ÿ™‚ I love that stuff… or sun-loving, yellow-blooming wedelia? Both are fast-growing and can be aggressive, but, are MUCH easier to control or eradicate if wanted. Wedelia is SO drought-hardy and beautiful when kept trimmed. Constantly blooms too… I am SO excited watching your progress. BIG hugs from Texas! ๐Ÿค  Have y'all thought about coral vine as a 'camouflage' plant? Blooms all summer and bees LOVE it!
