  1. I always make ‘biscuits’ with SR flour (we dont call them biscuits here), they come out perfect. We make almost nothing with plain flour, everything that needs to have a rise is SR flour. I make sweet scones with lemonade, cream and SR flour all the time and they come out amazing too.

  2. I add turmeric to almost everything savory I make. It needs some kind of fat I.e oil, butter, and black pepper to be much more bio available. Super anti inflammatory benefits if used on a regular basis. I also add it to my tuna salad. Yes it makes it yellow but who cares 🤷🏽‍♀️ you can’t taste it 😁Add it to everything 💥💥

  3. Now Becky because you are with child and can tell to look up ag1, it healthy drink you can drink to keep it great health

  4. Oh girl! All your happy accidents are me in every day life! You have such a great attitude! So happy your little niece had her second birthday! Happy birthday little one! ❤ Hope you and Josh feel better soon! Chicken ( or Turkey) soup is so good for our health and soul. I’m sure with all that good food you made, you all will be better in no time! Everything looked delicious as always! Raspberry jam is my favorite! We made some five berry jam recently and it’s so good! Strawberries, Raspberries, boysenberries, blueberries and Marionberries!

  5. I get that with carrots…I just can’t eat them if they are sliced into rounds, they taste different lol x Hope you both feel better after your soup ❤️

  6. I know with the jam you said the sugar and pectin are important, do you know if you'd be able to substitute with sugar alternative? I'm diabetic and I have really wanted to start canning to help control the sugar in my foods.
I love to watch you, it really helps seeing that other people make mistakes too!

  7. I’m a clumsy person on a regular day. But when I was pregnant my clumsiness was off the charts. I can do relate. ❤

  8. Did you see the episode of America’s Test Kitchen where they made the quick, easy biscuits and warmed the milk in the microwave? It made all the difference.

  9. I’m thinking the extra maple syrup that jumped into your granola made it yummy but what was funny was you talking about how you didn’t want it to be too sweet!🤣

  10. Just made chicken noodle soup. Never thought to put peas in there are turmeric. Those are both great ideas and I will try them both next time minus the noodles.

  11. Becky, You may want to think about getting a scoop to refill your kitchen containers. Raspberry is my favorite then strawberry. I put turmeric in my noodle dough for more color. Love your channel, thank you for telling us about your fathers.

  12. When you taste your food your expressions and words to describe how delicious it is makes me want to be able to put my hand in through the screen so I can gave a bite too. So jealous.

  13. Best granola ever! Not too sweet with that hint of salt… Yum!
Question… I have several flavor variations I like. Most of the recipes call for egg whites. I'd like to make them egg free. Will the flour and water trick work to replace the egg? If so… huge game changer for me. My logical mind thinks, yes. 🤷‍♀️
Thank you for taking us along and teaching this "old dog" new tricks. Love your videos ❤️

  14. Portugal. I just wanted to let you know I've been learning and being inspired by everything you do all the way from Portugal. I recently moved to a house we built and finally we have some land to grow things and have chickens. But I need a goat to eat up all the bramble berries

  15. Can I ask where you got the wooden creates from, that you have in the basement? Can I suggest labeling the bulk items upstairs. So you don't have to open each one to see what's in it. Love this video. I going to attempt the granola, biscuits and soup. I hope you are both feeling better. 🧡🌻

  16. What an example you set when life happens in the kitchen: Remain calm and carry on. I love watching your videos because it inspires me in many areas such as showing how and what to prepare ahead of time, and sharing and trying new recipes. I usually don't comment on videos. However, this time, I just wanted to let you know that your bounce-back-ability is soothing, comical (I get a chuckle because that is me, lol) and reassuring. Please keep up the great work.

  17. OMG…lately, there is no video where you don’t make some major mess ! While watching, I see it, I anticipate it happened and than it does happen!
Whether you break something or some other disaster. It may be wise that you start teaching yourself to slow down and pay attention…if possible …otherwise, please cut those clips out of videos.
Sorry if this is harsh, but I don’t know anyone who wants watch anything on ‘ how it is done’ with such a clips..
…you are LOVELY person and that will never change in my opinion…

  18. I haven’t had internet connection in awhile. I am binging all the videos. Wow nice upgrade!! How’s the pregnancy going? I love all the recipes! My favorite is fast breakfast soups and one pot dinners!

  19. Becky! I understand and agree with you 100% about the way veggies are cut for soups! I too really dislike it when the carrots are cut in rounds/coins and celery in half moons – the pieces really are too big! I like being able to have a spoonful of ALL the veggies in every bite 😀

  20. Wanted to tell you to watch Hollis and Nancy on YouTube he gardens and you will love and learn a lot of great things from him

  21. I really enjoy watching you and seeing all the things that you cook. I am going to try to make your marshmallow recipe. I tried another several years ago and it did not turn out anywhere near what a marshmallow looks like. I hope you are both feeling better.

  22. Love it! Pro tip: If you put a damp towel under your cutting board it won't shift 🙂 Where did you get that wonderful olive wood spatula you use all the time? My daughter (a teenage baking wonder!) has her eye on it and a birthday coming up.

  23. You are my spirit animal and an inspiration for me to not swear like a sailor when I drop things. Also cant wait to try granola. <3
