There are palms, aroids, bromeliads, ferns, orchids, nepenthes and a butterfly collection.
Thereβs even an epiphytic cycad, growing in a hanging basket – a real rarity.

Cairns botanical gardens is great one to visit. Went there in Feb the Aboriginal plant use garden was well worth it i learnt a thing or two here.

Been there a few times . Beautiful. The vast majority of those plants will grow as far south as the Brisbane subtropical region if planted in semi-protected positions , but do best north of Mackay.
I kept waiting for someone to mention that wollemi pine and it never happened!
