  1. Hi Robbie, i learned on another channel that you can take cuttings off your eggplant to make more. Also this week a 5 inch watermelon went missing off one of my vines so I wrapped the other 11 in tulle. the next day I could see something had tried to get past the tulle because I saw holes and claw marks but that melon was ok! Yay. Thanks for that tip. In the meantime I set up my have-a-heart trap expecting to catch a squirrel because we've seen one running the top of the fence a few times but in the trap was a big raccoon. Glad we caught it because I also saw half eaten tomatoes around the yard too….. and a destroyed cantaloupe vine.

  2. This is sooo amazing Robbie, not only is it functional your garden looks so beautiful. Thank you X

  3. Fantastic! I love that you can take them apart and reconfigure and assemble them into anything you need!

I want to grow some gymnema sylvestre (Australian Cowplant/"destroyer of sugar", for diabetics) in a tote and this will be perfect! It's tropical (zone 9-10) but it propagates from cuttings so, I'm thinking I can grab some cuttings before the first frost, compost the rest and grow them indoors until next year!! So it will be SORT of like a perennial! Right? Anyway, I'm going to try it. May end up buying somebody else's leaves but, oh well.

  4. HI ROBBIE N GARY 🙋, I'VE LEARNED SO MUCH FROM WATCHING UR VIDEOS N I TRULY THANK YOU 🙌🙏🙌 I'VE ALREADY GOT TULLE N GOING TO BUY THE BLACK TUBING, ~BOTH ARE BRILLIANT ROBBIE~ 👍👌💙…BUT MY QUESTION IS…3yrs AGO I BOUGHT SOME 2ft WOODEN STAKES TO TRELLIS UP MY CUCUMBERS BUT THE CUCUMBERS GOT VINE BORERS, DISEASE N WHATEVER ELSE N IT SEEMED LIKE WHEN I USED THE SAME WOODEN STAKES THE FOLLOWING SPRING N EVEN THIS SPRING HAD ISSUES WITH MY CUCUMBERS N SQUASH N ZUCCHINIES N ONLY GOT A COUPLE DISFIGURED CUCUMBERS 😭 🙌SO I'M THINKING THAT THE WOODEN STAKES GOT CONTAMINATED TOO, DO I NEED TO TREAT THE WOODEN STAKES WITH SOMETHING TO DISINFECT THEM OR JUST THROW THEM AWAY? I WOULD SO APPRECIATE ANY OF YOUR HELP ABOUT WHAT TO DO???🤔😪🙏PLEASE HELP! THANKS WITH ALL MY HEART 💙💫💐💫.( P.S… I'VE BEEN USING BAMBOO STAKES THE LAST 2months 👍) JUST TRYING TO SAVE THE WOODEN STAKES IF POSSIBLE, THANKS AGAIN N I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOURS N GARY'S GARDENS, THEY ARE JUST BEAUTIFUL!😊😊 HAVE A GREAT DAY N HAPPY GARDENING TO EVERYONE! 👌👍🙋🤗✌️💜.

  5. You truly are amazing, I already started to compost,, bought tulle, have containers, I'm going to purchase irrigation tube, I think I'll be ready for spring. Thank you

  6. THANK FATHER GOD FOR YOU SISTER ROBBIE. WE HAVE AN ABUNDANCE OF WATERMELON COVERING OUR YARD. THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE. THEY'RE GROWING ALL AROUND OUR CARDBOARD BOX GARDEN. YOU ARE A GOD SEND. LOVE YOU ROBBIE. BE BLESSED 🙌 🙏

  7. When you get an idea and just run with it, we all benefit. I'm going to use this for my volunteer tomatillo plants that are sprawling out of my totes now. Thanks 🙏 Robbie!!

  8. Good video especially for those of us that need to learn slowly in the beginning.
Do you still anchor in the green metal stakes into the storage tote?

  9. I'm curious what you use to support the watermelon as it gets bigger closer to harvest time.

  10. Thank you Robbie. Newbie gardener & really appreciate you showing how to trellis using your tools!

  11. I saw on another gardening page people were repurposing fabric or disposable face masks to hold small melons or large tomatoes to take stress off of the plant vine.

  12. Wow the timing on this is just incredible. We have 4 large tomato plants and 2 cherry tomato plants and they are sooo huge!! I hadn’t ever known to prune them so I did that and still had a lot of big branches with tomatoes on the ground. Can’t find tomato cages anywhere so I looked around and found some old crates I had and propped the plants on them! Next year we will definitely be building something for them to climb on. I can’t thank you enough for all you do to help all of us who don’t know what the heck we are doing!!! This is just absolutely BRILLLLLIANT!!!

  13. Question: Hi Robbie! Love your ideas for the tubing. Sometimes temps reach into the high 90s-low 100s my way. Do you think the tubing would ever get so hot as to burn/hurt the plants?

  14. Oooh great idea! I just happen to have some irrigation tubing from another project and was pondering what to use to trellis my pole beans I’m going to try this with a hook at the top to hold it to my porch roof (they get really tall!) and make the holes for string to attach them. Brilliant and I don’t have to buy anything.👍🏻Yay! I have lots of other plants I can use it for too (cucumbers, zucchini, etc etc.). Thank you!

  15. Panty hose will hold the melons up gently and securely. I use el cheapo knee or thigh high stockings (10 pair to a pack) for lots of things in my garden. I just have a dark brown thumb. I got 11 more tomatoes this year than last year. I have 12.

  16. Yesterday I was so frustrated trying to protect my plants from the rain. Ended up bringing them next to the house. This tubing and stakes would be great as a mini shelter for my beginner plants and my tumeric and Ginger pots. Thanks again Robbie!

  17. ThanQ 4 the inspiration! LOOKS FANTASTIC💚💚💚
I wonder IF this could somehow work on Greenstalk? Any chance u can do a video 4 Vertical towers??? ThanQ 💚

  18. What a fantastic idea! I’m a pensioner and will have a go with an old hose pipe, fingers crossed it works! This will be my project for next year! Wish me luck 🍀 stay safe Robbie
