The Perfect Trip to Acadia | My Ultimate Methods for Beating the Crowds

From tidepooling along the coast to hiking in the forests and mountains of Mount Desert Island, this is one Acadia National Park road trip you won’t want to miss. I’m solo traveling between my favorite trails and hidden spots to hike, lake swim, stretch, picnic, watch the sunrise and tide pool from the beach to the mountain tops. We’ll climb to five of the park’s peaks, including the highest, Mt. Cadillac to be one of the first to see the sunrise in United States of America. As we travel and explore, we’ll fuel our adventures with healthy meals made from Maine local produce and vegetables. Along the way, we will learn about the nature that makes these places so beautiful – spotting local wildlife, native plants, and lots of cool mushrooms as we wander the trail.
