In this video I show how I converted our old raised vegetable bed into a container garden. The conversion took place this past spring. The reasons for switching to a container garden are: 1) the ability to move the pots to areas that receive the best sunlight as the seasons change, 2) the ease in amending the soil to maximize plant health and yield, 3) the convenience in having the pots at a height without too much kneeling or bending, and 4) the ease in accessing the pots to plant, harvest, fertilize and weed.
