  1. Awesome!!!!!! What a magnificent plan.. God speed on your success.. I'm agreeing with both of you. That you'll be at 90% or better, self sufficient.. There is nothing to big for our God.

  2. Hollis, II'm tired of the squirrels eating my tomatoes, too.  Do you have a video regarding the enclosed tomato cages?  you guys are great.  I just love watching your videos and am so amazed and inspired.  God bless you both.

  3. I have chipmunks that have eaten 7 rows of corn, 4 rows of peas, three rows of carrots, and all my onions. How do I get rid of them?

  4. I was soooo excited to catch up on all of your posts, and see you standing in front of the all too familiar pine trees and scrub oaks! It makes me laugh a little bit when you talk about the "seasons" down here. We have Hot, Hotter, STUPID Hot and cant decide to rain or shine. I am a very new to growing my own food, and I hang on every word of your advice. A "warm" belated welcome to the Sunshine State!

  5. Thank you for a wonderful and encouraging video. I really enjoy seeing all your accomplishments. You have a beautiful place. God has richly blessed you.

  6. I'm amazed at all that had to be done. I watched your videos backwards and saw the garden afterwards and am amazed at the work that went into it. The garden is really coming along now. Plus you've got a great tall fence to keep animals out but do you think you will have a problem like with rabbits and such digging and coming up on the other side of the fence. I've seen many with this problem so they had to dig all around their fence down a certain distance and put something so as they couldn't dig under anymore.

  7. I would have buried all that wood under the garden area instead of burning it thats what I do with trees that have died or blown over in storms

  10. Hollis and Nancys Homestead I just found you Guys again and knowing how you garden, I could just cry seeing all that sand and all the extra work you have to do to make it growable.

  11. Do you have a pond on your property? If not I highly recommend one. We are in central Florida and have ours stocked with catfish and brim for us to eat. The tilapia we feed to our meat chickens. We also irrigate our garden from it. My husband and I love your videos and get so much inspiration and ideas from them. Thank you Hollis, Nancy and Bing Bing.
