Front Yard Garden

Massive Front Yard CLEAN UP of abandoned 1908 farm / Satisfying TIMELAPSE PART 2 – Ep.14

This time we spent almost 2 months to clean up the second part of the front yard. It was not easy at all, the whole yard was covered with mud, roots, branches, leaves… Nature definitely took advantage of the farm left abandoned for 10 years. But we managed it and very happy with the result. It is not yet finished-finished, but I can’t stop smiling when I see what we achieved so far. Enjoy!

  1. Oh my goodness haven't been able to locate y'all so I thought y'all had been moved to another channel !! I googled and thankfully found y'all It's behind progress but at least I located y'all! I hope I can find the present place y'all are working? UPDATED WILL CONTINUE TO SEARCH😞😢😱😟

  2. Love the look of your courtyard. As for your pace, that is my pace also, so it looks good to me. lol My late hubby was more like yours – Speedy Gonzalez !!! ROFL

  3. Your home will be beautiful ❤️ with all that hard work, looking forward to seeing it done inside and out. Well done for America.

  4. It needs a strong power washing and subsequent sealing. Some good polymeric sand in between the cobblestone so it’s a more walkable surface.

  5. I like the fence. If you put some nice decorative fencing with a gate to match it would be beautiful. But wow what a fabulous yard. Maybe in time dig up the bricks and level out the uneven bits but it gives it character to leave it original. Very nice job

  6. It took you as long as it did because you also had other responsibilities. You are deliberate, you take care of not getting injured, this is the correct way to do things. I commend you. Thank you for sharing.

  7. I really enjoyed the old cobble stone revealed. I also enjoyed seeing the sun move through the shadows in the time-lapse portion of the video. Thank you!

  8. That is going to be a beautiful home for your family. You are doing a good job of caring for the property. Always nice to see the progress at the end of the day and you will also have a recorded documentation to look back on in later years. Wish your family the best.

  9. Great place for a party when you are finally finished. Will be beautiful! What if the posts were cut down to just above the hold below the top one and chain draped across? There wouldn’t be much cost and it would look great!

  10. Hello Ilie and Marina,

You have just gained an admirer on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean, here in Brazil.

What a nice surprise your lovely videos.

After watching the first (in which You clean the main entrance of the house), I was electrifying and I believe I found all the other (even outside the chronological order) and I was (and continue) hoping that they can complete the works within their liking and planning.

    Good luck and success!

  11. That cobblestone front yard is absolutely stunning. It would have cost a fortune to have it done now.

  12. Would have less time of your son helped instead of playing games on his iPhone all day.

  13. I'm a single mum of. 3 IV transferred my garden from weeds n little grass from broken gates to fences to a patio gravel and artificial grass took a long time and lots of money and still needs more work but I'm inlove with my new garden 😁

  14. Perhaps some of you think it's crazy, but some of us like to watch this stuff. More than 1 million people have watched this one.
In only 10 years all of this beautiful brick work was covered up by mother nature, so it's easy to see how other sites covered up for hundreds or thousands of years become buried deeper and deeper in the ground, with ground cover thickening with each passing season.
I always wonder about the people who create these things, they are usually forgotten, but their creative work remains. And that's really all that lasts in this world.
Thousands of archaeological sites all over the world are continually being discovered or further worked upon, and you have to wish you could have been there and known the people doing the work. I wonder about the stories of their lives they might tell us if they could.
