Pre-sprouting Ranunculus and Anemone | Backyard Garden Highlights



Hi friends, Its Udhaya from Backyard Garden Highlights, Hillsborough NJ ZONE 6B. In this video, I’m sharing an excited update on how I pre-sprout Ranunculus and Anemone. This is my first time growing them from corms; not sure if I’ll be able to successfully pre-sprout them. Fingers crossed!!!   4. Hi Udhaya, thank you for the informative vlog! I love Ranunculus but I haven't tried growing them myself. I planted Anemone bulbs last Autumn together with some Tulips , they have new foliage now and all looking very healthy. Looking forward to see your Ranunculus in bloom:-)

  7. I'm sure they will look beautiful in ur garden.. I am also trying ranunculus this year. ( pre sprouting maybe soon) I just bought them last year in our local nursery and plant them in container.their gorgeous. So this year I am trying to plant them from corm myself.     Yes as flower growers we soak and oxygenate our corms usually overnight with a tap dripping on them. I also soak mine in LAB (lactic acid Bacteria) which is a Korean farming method. It kills bacteria and fungal disease so you have no issues. Look it up on YouTube ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ they do look like dahlia tubers!! runucs are a beautiful plant, I know you will love them!!   11. I try pre-sprouting some Ranunculus earlier this year and forgot to put them inside after planting. I almost lost all the corms๐Ÿ˜ฌ
    I planted some anemones back in fall and most of them are showing up already๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks for sharing your process with us. Hope they sprouted successfully and that we will soon see them in your garden๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ’š
    Iโ€˜m also discovering most of these plants for the first time and I find the whole experience very fascinating๐Ÿ˜‰
