2) Shortly after affixing vines to a trellis, leaves will always look initially “messy” because they were oriented to best capture light while the vine flowed downward. Don’t worry, they will sort themselves out – in a few weeks/months, leaves will re-orient for optimal light collection and will once again be “aesthetically pleasing”.
