  1. How long will the pantry items last you for? Do you continually stock up or does this last til next summer harvest?

  2. You're freakin amazing and awesome!

The kids can start cleaning by now LOL My mom had us cleaning at about their ages

  3. I want you to talk about freeze drying. Does it hold the nutrients as well as dehydrating? Is everything powder like? How do you reconstitute it and how is the texture affected?

  4. Haaaa! loved they are all eaten. That means super yummm. Wow love the sundried tomatoes! Thank you thank you so much for this. ALL of it is amazing and such a dedicated amount of hard work. And it looks so beautiful!! Even the dust looks beautiful! Love and hugs to you all

  5. Looks amazing! I would love to see how you actually cook with the dehydrated and freeze dried food.

  6. We are indians not need to fridge dryer or dehydrators….India have lots of fresh fruit and vegetables all year around…we like to eat fresh food and home cooked food….
I am from West Bengal…now we are having DURGA Puja festival… πŸ’•πŸ’•

  7. Your pantry is amazing! Any tips on how to get lots of jars without spend much? Also, are they all glass or do you use plastic ones too? I'm not always sure when it's safe to reuse the plastic ones.

  8. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Your husband!! At least you know he loved it! I have the same issue with canned pineapples and dry mangoes. I can't preserve them fast enough.

  9. I would love to see more about the freeze dryer! Especially why you chose the brand you did. I’ve only ever seen people use Harvest Right, super curious about this brand you’ve gotten

  10. This is just amazing! I’m at a loss for words at your knowledge. ❀

  11. it is amazing. we seem to have a similar backyard size and my garden is not that big! I canned a lot of my own product.

Did you ever consider canning your jars? it would free a lot of your freezer space. And it is easier to use after.

  12. Hi there! From my family to yours. πŸ‡¦πŸ‡ΊπŸ˜ I have recently started dehydrating some of my herbs in particular. I havnt got a big garden but I have tried dehydrating a few herbs . The first one was spring onion which was actually from the shop & it was getting old, so basically oozed them in the turbo ove sice I don't have a dehydrator Or a working oven. It smells & tastes so good. 😁 I have however got a massive crop of parsley, so have been drying the leaves & the seeds once again in my turbo oven and just hand crushed them but as I dry more I'll powder some of it. Its got so much more flavour & colour than shop bought ! πŸ™‚ I have also collected some Rosemary & dried it & also crushed it in with rock salt. Ohh & I recently dried a small batch of lemon zest for the first time. Hopefully one day I will get a dehydrator. ( I used to have one about 20 years ago but didn't use it a great deal ) :/ πŸ™ πŸ™‚

  13. youre incredible. my jaw was literally on the ground the whole time in awe of how much you do (plus being a mom plus dealing with a chronic illness)!!! youre so impressive and im so inspired to have even a portion of these skills and knowledge someday

  14. Great job! and hi from Slovakia πŸ˜‰ you are so inspiring ❀ I am not new in gardening and preserving foods but I can learn more thanks to you. I use to pressure can my tomato sauce, so I can save the electricity for a freezer… did you try it?

  15. Questions! How do you keep your jars from breaking in your freezer? Mine bust EVERY TIME. Also, could you do a video on the items that you don't grow and buy to supplement your own production , things you purchase regularly

  16. Loved this extensive tour ! Thanks so much for filming it !!

I hope one day I will build such a beautiful garden πŸ’š

  17. I use sumac to make a syrup for pancakes it is so good it has a cherry lemon flavor . That's what it tastes like to me πŸ™‚. I applaud you for all the dehydrated items you have . It takes a lot to have a small amount of dried β™₯️β™₯️β™₯️!!

  18. You have convinced me to get a regular food dehydrator. Something we've discussed in the past, but I think it's about time now. Also super jealous of your tea selection! Wow you have some much. Way excited to try rose hips in kombucha. You blew my mind with that.

Also, when you talked about food insecurity, I really felt that. Genuinely and honestly. And it was a light bulb moment for me. Not something from my past that I realized might be playing a role in why I feel passionately about self sufficiency. I think that's a topic worthy of it's own video. It's not talked about enough and you being open and vulnerable about it was really meaningful to me.

  19. This is the first video I have watched of yours and I immediately subbed. I love authentic content and obtainable inspiration. I have a dry sink from the 1800’s and it has my β€œ pretty β€œ storage containers and it changes with the wheel but my walk in pantry is closed off and it’s only job is to be efficient. I also grow lots of tea herbs and flowers. I started drying sunflower petals a few years ago for my tea blends and I dry rose petals and together they are lovely mixed with lemon balm. Side note, I’m looking forward to seeing your winter garden.

  20. I almost started crying when you mentioned a lack of childhood food security. My husband got in trouble as a child for eating pages from his school workbook but his stomach hurt from not having food and he just wanted it to stop. I come from a farming family and it hurts my heart to imagine hungry people, especially children. We live in a country of abundance and that just shouldn’t happen. My heart goes out to you.

  21. As soon as I’m finished with this video I’m heading out to my garden to harvest rosehips🌹
