HDHD Episode 5: If you recall my last video – My Favorite Room (https://youtu.be/GCnDEaVx3qA) I found a wonderful spot for a peaceful, Zen garden, but it needs a good cleaning and a lot of vision. This is day one. Not much chat in this video. Mostly a lot of raking. LIke really a lot. It’s a bit of a high energy vibe with the music so if you want zen, turn the volume off on this one. Zen is the goal. Not quite there yet. But isn’t the journey the whole point?

    You remind me of myself doing all that yard work bending over. Which in the long run will make your back sore or worse surgery. My therapist recommends bending over like a golfer, hard to remember, but I thought I would share that tidbit.

    Can't wait to see the zen garden when done. Monique, you've got some great visions and your location will make them all come to light. What a wonderful peaceful place to hang out while we social distance. Curious if you have any bird of paradise growing at that elevation, because it was plentiful at my front entrance.     It is so wonderful to see you working so hard in your garden. I am like that and I really miss it as I am away from home for an extended period. A very beautiful house and property, and all your effort and wonderful eye will make it a very livable showcase.

    First issue to address is where all that debris came from! A Zen garden needs almost daily maintenance to keep it pristine and all that leaf litter is going to make your life very busy! In Japan they have teams of gardeners armed with chop sticks picking up every scrap of litter every day before the substrate gets raked!
