βCome the spring with all it’s splendor, all it’s birds and all it’s blossoms. All itβs flowers and leaves and grasses.β -Goodfellow
Welcome to my garden! Today, Jason and I went to the landscape supply place to pick up some mulch. We are adding it to our Plumbago Bed which used to have rock in it. It looks so much better with the mulch and is all ready to be planted this Spring! πΈ Enjoy!

Good morning π this is beautiful π I love the black mulch Canβt wait to see this area full of beautiful things πππ. Great idea for the rocks !! We currently have around 10β of snow but much more to come and the wind is howling Basically everything is shut down πππ so I can enjoy watching your videos of spring to come β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ. Have a great day π₯°π₯°π₯°
Looks great, Janey. Can't wait to see the obelisk.
Beautiful! Black mulch is like magic!
You have a great eye for detail!! The little rocks along the sidewalk give it a nice, finished look. There is something satisfying about spreading mulch!! I compared bulk mulch vs. bagged mulch and in my area, bagged mulch is three (3) times more expensive. It is easier, but costs more. So exciting to be able to get ready for spring. In New England, there isn't much I can do just yet!! ββββ

Your garden design is so tidy! I love it! βββ We still have a long way to go before ours is looking this clean again. Thanks for sharing!
Your beds look so good! Can't wait to see them in the peak of summer! You've got a great eye for detail and have some beautiful beds!
Yβall did a great job. It looks very nice. I canβt wait to see the fairy gardens I know they will be so cute.
Great information. We have a winery in town that sells mulch made from stuff they let gardeners (mostly professionals) dump there for a fee. I know this because my husband is one of those gardeners. I love being able to have him bring home a load of mulch to spread around the garden. They have different grades and everything we have gotten from them has been very clean. And the prices are way less than other places. I do not think they deliver so you need a truck. Might be worth checking to see if there is something like this available in your area. Not necessarily you but maybe one of your followers. Thanks for sharing.
Looks so great!
An obelisk for the Plumbago is a great idea. I have one in a large pot, I think I'll try that.
Looks so tidy and clean. Looking forward to seeing it in the spring.
Fresh mulch look so clean, Can't wait for the spring.
I absolultely love the black mulch! It will be an amazing background for all of the flowers this year! The perfection you have reminds me of the Japanesse gardents. It is truly beautiful.
Looks so beautiful! ππΏπ

Love the shirt! What a great Dad π₯° love to see that you run into same issues we do in SJ 9b! So appreciate your straightforward own to earth way
Hi from Roseville.Your garden is beautiful. I just wondered if you did any research on landscape fabric. I did this to kill all the weeds in my front yard. When I pulled back the fabric, I had killed my soil. I'm now working on my soil to make it healthy. Jim Putman and Jenny at Creekside both have videos. I'm not trying to tell you what to do. Just wanted to pass along some info. I'm thankful for your 9b channel.
It looks beautiful and Iβm so excited to see how this area changes πΈπ¦πΈ
Ohhh I really like the idea and the look of the rocks in the gap! Wow
