It’s time for a late summer color change out in our containers! Watch this video with Noelle, Horticulturist and Education Director with Petitti Garden Centers, to get inspired with gorgeous new late-summer, early-fall container gardening ideas. As with any container garden, start we recommend starting with Petitti planting mix and adding a slow-release fertilizer before you begin adding new plants. Enjoy gorgeous color from all of your fall favorites such as Celosia, ornamental peppers and cabbage, Fall mums, and even perennial favorites like Coral Bells. The bonus to planting perennials in your container gardens is that you can overwinter them in a garage or covered area and bring them back out in the spring in your container garden or even transplant them into your landscape.
