  1. Tell me again what you do with the red hibiscus ๐ŸŒบ I have it growing like a weed everywhere ๐Ÿ˜

  3. Are some of your sunflowers called, Teddy Bears?
You are like me, you need a Anteater. Lol
Have a great week and stay safe.

  4. Ok…had to stop at the ants! Try to find what's called Dried Molasses at your feed store. Sprinkle it and it will hopefully kill them. I initially got it for the fire ants here in Texas but I use it on any ants in my garden and it seems to work. All natural! Carry on….๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿค ๐Ÿ˜

  5. Wow! Your Egyptian Forest is beautiful!! I hope there is something that you can spray on your Sweet Ann to save it

  6. Your sunflowers are awesome – will you harvest any of the seeds or just let the birds have them? Beautiful peppers and melons too. Thanks for sharing your harvest.

  7. Kaye i guess ,,,,,, reminiscent of your wonderful little garden in Palisades ,,,,,the harvest is a great achievement
do forget,,,, here you have no help as such, Palisades you had Erik,,,,, so
    hands in the dirt
    head in the sun
    heart in the garden
which you certainly have done Kaye,,,,,,Edwin John

  8. You got a great harvest Kayeโ€ฆnice. If you can, get a green house and maybe do a few raised beds to garden. Iโ€™ve learned I need two more raised beds. I canโ€™t afford a greenhouse, but I donโ€™t have anywhere to put one anyways. Iโ€™m 69 and canโ€™t get down easilyโ€ฆโ€ฆ

  9. Your gardens are gorgeous! Well-done Kaye! I have been harvesting Summer Squash and have tiny watermelons and tiny green and gold beans coming on. I also have the volunteer cherry tomato and sunflower and my artichoke, carrots, dill and chives are trying hard. Still am doing battle with grasshoppers but insect eating birds are here! Also it is pouring rain this afternoon! Hooray for that!

  10. Wow! Your yellow peppers look great, the green ones too. Mine were so tiny!!

  11. Omgosh those sunflowers are gorgeous! Unfortunately I find them a challenge here with sand. But I grew a few in compost they just dont get tall here. We are still in a severe drought. But thankfully the temps and humidity are down…for now. Glad to see all your kitties have fun!

  12. Kaye, one of these days I will get Malabar spinach growing again. I was successful in 1996 in Ohio. Haven't been able to grow it here in Central Kentucky, but if you can grow it in Tennessee, there's hope for me. Always good to see your garden.

  13. PS,,,,,,, forgot to say im sending these comments from Beverly Hills ,,,, on a visit to my family and Roxbury Dr garden California weather is more to my style,,even temps
Vera as such green fingers like you,,, grows loads of stuff,,,,, and she can cook (Vera is my housekeeper at Roxbury),,,
enjoy travel now no hassle (fly-drive),,,,, Ed

  14. Beautiful sunflowers! I would be tempted to cut a few and bring into the house. I like to keep chopped up green peppers and onion at the ready for egg omelets and such. Your green peppers look great! I'd like to grow the red malabar spanish on my arch next year. Making a note of that! Thanks, Kaye!

  15. Don't throw away your favorite pepper plants! You can cut them back, clean them up, re-pot with clean soil (no bugs) and let them lie dormant in your garage all winter with very little watering. Replant them in early spring and you'll be among the first to harvest peppers in 2023. https://youtu.be/Sh7uzr8XMWI

  16. GREAT VIDEO!!! I DON'T HAVE A GARDEN . BUT, I LOVE FLOWERS . STRUGGLE WITH THEM THIS YEAR SO, MAYBE NEXT YEAR WILL BE BETTER WITH THEM. YOU HAD A GREAT HARVEST . AND THE SUNFLOWERS ARE GORGEOUS. THANK YOU FOR SHARING WITH US!!!

  17. the sunflowers are gorgeous! and the watermelons! and the eggplant! and peppers! I am so enjoying your videos!

  18. My tomatoes are just loaded! I have never had such a beautiful tomato harvest and it continues every day. I only hope we don't get an early frost in northern Iowa. I have peppers doing well too and I need to dig up some potatoes. I'm pretty happy with this years garden. It started a little late but is doing very well right now. I have a few sweet potatoes but will wait with them. Do you know if I can save sweet potato slips from my plants for next year? I'm new to sweet potatoes.

  19. Kaye, you have so much beauty in your heavenly garden despite the pestilences. Shalom๐ŸŒป๐Ÿœ๐Ÿ‰

  20. You might want too get rid of that grasshopper!! I think its more of a locust and that's the plague right there!! And well…you don't want that!! LOL!!

  21. It seems pretty obvious that the lower garden has the best soil for optimum production. Building a tomato trellis down there for next year maybe the way to go.

  22. Beautiful stuff!! My peppers are STILL coming outta my ears!!๐Ÿซ‘๐Ÿซ‘๐Ÿซ‘ But I have gorgeous marigolds for the fall colors and a beautifully cool morning so I fot to throw up the windows. I've never grown sunflowers. If I do a lasagna garden in spring I'll have to try them. I planted a really pretty bulb flower that's a gorgeous dark red but I can't for the life of me remember what they are๐Ÿคฆ. Oh well off to put up peppers ๐Ÿ‘ Have a beautiful day my friend ๐Ÿ™โค๏ธ๐Ÿ™

*Edit* Yes this is the FIRST year I've had bell peppers and boy do I!!

  23. Kaye Vera and you would get along like a house on fire
she is Jamaican,,,,, got this rancorous laugh can be heard miles lol,,,,yes you both should meet up some tame eh Ed

  24. Beautiful sunflowers. I planted 1 Van Gogh a friend gave me and I had sunflowers for years, they were taking over my back so I pulled them out for 2 years. I still get 1 or 2 every year. Think I'll plant again this sring for the bees. Great video as always. I get my injection tomorrow. My stomach is flip flopping!! But hopefully the pain will be gone. Much love. That was a gorgeous color of green.

  25. I just planted some Cherokee purple seeds here in Southeast Texas where it stays hot most of the year. I plant nearly all year round

  26. Hello kaye yet any great video I see ur cat wants in on ur show,,, I must say you to a a massive garden kaye ur very blessed I have to say,,,,, anyway you have a lovely day ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿค“๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜€๐ŸŽโ™ฅ๏ธ๐Ÿ‘ธ

  27. Coming in to spring on the opposite side of the world (New Zealand) Just planted 2 early types of potatoes. Next weekend planting tomatoes capsicum (bell peppers) spinach broccoli cauliflower basil and a few other small things. I live in the suburbs (1/8 acre) and have raised beds in area that used to be a double garage. Have no need for lawn any more to from this year on I am going to garden from the back of the property forward. Might put some chickens in at some stage. I'm 65 in Jan and only got in to gardening about 7 years ago. I'm learning a lot. When I started we were looking at retiring to the country. Having seen my Grandparents make a bad mistake at moving late in retirement. I decided if I can't grow vege's at my location the chance of succeeding in the country would be very low. The suburb I live in was developed in the 1930's when everyone had a garden. So changing the whole property to food is not out of place.

  28. Kaye, did you know you can can malabar spinach? Yes! Its toothier than regular spinach. Great for recipes! โค
