Buyer beware: plants on sale/clearance at a place that doesn’t normally sell plants means the plants are just about no longer fit to sell (damaged foliage, pests). I’m guilty of spontaneous buying too – this large Dieffenbachia came home with me but so did some bugs on the undersides of the leaves. I’ve treated it with some horticultural oil and hosed it down.
