  1. This is so fun! I would have the same reaction as you and say "this is so exciting" 100Xs 😂 What did you do differently this time that made them grow better? You should do a tips for growing potatoes video!

  2. I think potatoes should be harvested after the plants are completely dry and they should be hilled in between so that you don’t have green potatoes. But anyway great harvest!!

  3. Beautiful potato harvest! I would look up waiting to wash them until after they are "cured" and you're ready to use them. Supposed to make shelf life longer supposedly. I did like you did – took some store bought potatoes we haven't used that had started forming eyes and just put them in the ground and they are growing beautifully. Somebody commented below that the green potatoes are poisonous – very true. You can mulch around the plant base to keep some of the upper potatoes from going green – but like you said, with all of the rain, that can be detrimental as well. Your garden is so lovely!

  4. Omg! Your potatoes came out beautiful! I was the same way when I harvested mines. I didn’t get a lot but I was SUPER EXCITED!! It’s very rewarding❤️❤️

  5. Yes ma’am Daisy!!!!! Now that’s a harvest right there! Great job my friend! I’m glad that you didn’t get discouraged from last year’s results because you wouldn’t have experienced the joy from this year’s big WIN! Keep on sowing and growing fam!

  12. How fun! Growing vegetables is like an Easter egg hunt every day, isn’t it? I think that’s why I love it so much. ❤️ Thanks for sharing your adventure!

  13. That's AMAZING!!! Wow… you've come such a long way since last years' harvest 😂. I hope they were delicious! Great job! 🥔💚

  14. I’m afraid to harvest mine because the first batch were so itty bitty… I’m giving them a bit more time 🤞🏼

Nice harvest! This gives me hope, if not this year maybe for next year. Job well done!

  15. I see two maybe three potato bakes right there!! LOL!! I can never do potato bakes with store bought potatoes cause they always chit so quickly!! You need to grow your own potatoes to get any kind of potato bake these days!! LOL!! But well done!! I'm about to do some potato harvests on the weekend!! :-)!!

  16. Can’t wait to see your updated backyard tour again, seems like a lot of growth on the new things you put in—hopefully we get one soon? 🙏🏽
